nice pulp fiction poster, and is that the gumball machine guy from mystery science theater? awesome! haha. i just got that joker book for christmas and DAMN I WAS BLOWN AWAY. the take on croc was amazing. and the resemblance to ledger is a coincidence. i heard it was 3 years in the making, but the similarities are creepy. on page 31 (i think) there is one pic where he looks like the jack nicholson version to me (above the "sin will find you" panel)
did you noticed Batman in the Very Begining When Joker was Leaving Arkham and Giving The Finger? Cause he wasnt giving the bird to the City he was Flipping Batman Off idk if you noticed just wondering:-)
There is some proof that Bermejo came up with the look long before the movie ever went into production. The 2005 Lex Luthor Man of Steel mini series that you mention has a panel in issue 2 or 3 that shows Lex reading a newspaper. The photo of the Joker on the paper has the carved face look. There were also some drawings Bermejo posted online in 2005 with that same Joker look.
So if anything, Nolan stole the look from Bermejo without giving him credit.
What do you think is better DC or Marvel?

Would you say it's worth buying in hardback. Or should I just wait till it hits paperback.

If you're a Joker, Batman, or Brian Azzarello fan...then I say yes.

HAHA! Thanks anyway. Do you have a lower tier Bat-villain (Firefly, Mad Hatter) that you like besides Joker/Harley?

Great review of the Joker hardcover.
