Seriously CGR guy, stop saying stuff about the Wii that clearly isn't true. Don't get me wrong, I love your reviews but you're not very informed about Nintendo.

RRR isn't the sort of game you buy a Wii for, you buy a Wii for the same reason you buy a PS3 or an Xbox360. Although you would be kind of stupid to pick an Xbox over a PS3. The Wii is the best by a bit though!

@nintygamer23 I think that there are perfectly good reasons to choose the 360 over the PS3. The chief reason being that the 360 has better and more exclusive titles. The reason to buy a Wii is for casual gaming. If you're a hardcore gamer, you shouldn't buy a Wii because even the Wii's best attempts at hardcore modern gaming are feeble compared to what the other consoles are doing. This goes beyond graphics and includes more general aspects of gameplay. I have a Wii for parties. period.

@XinBiDe i dont see much difference in a ps3 to a 360...there only minor...like how megadrive had monir differences to the snes...not such a big difference. i only have a ps3 cus thats what my friend have heh, and of course id wanna play with them, ifi could afford both, i would get both...i just happen to know more people with a ps3 as opposed to a 360

as for wii...yeah i see your point..its way way too gimmicky, i can handle gimmicks but the wii...holy hell it seems like a joke console to me

@Xegethra however i will say this...i do love daft, insane over the top completly unrealistic games, (in conjunction with more serious games, i like those too).. i play them on any platform i own, old or new....its i dont like how the wii does it with motion controles...not a motion controle guy, i dont even use six axis on my ps3 heh

There are loads of Wii exclusives that will go down in history, the most recent of which was probably Super Mario Galaxy 2, but the Wii is generally for multiplayer in which all players can be present in the same room. It's a party system, and it succeeds at this overwhelmingly, selling about twice as many units as the other consoles, and also selling the most exclusive titles.

All three consoles serve a very real purpose, although the wii is by leaps and bounds the most successful in terms of sales, money made per unit, and exclusive titles sold. If you want to get technical, compared to the Wii's marketing team, the 360 and PS3 are the "joke consoles", but they're also the true modern gaming consoles.

but yeah, the other consoles are truer gaming consoles...they arent as cheesy as the wii i guess, might be a bit sometimes but not as often...i like to spend time to sit down and play a game that feels fuller...because as you say, the wii is more a party sort of thing
