  • Just FYI not really just a one hit wonder does the theme song to Sons of Anarchy and I have a funny feeling other film work as well

  • it was the song I chose for my Girlfriend's Funeral!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sobbed and cried my eyes out (like a fuckin WOMAN lol)... Actually, NOT REALLY... it's Under fuckin Standable to cry at a funeral!!

  • OMFG, car'nt believe av found this song LMAO!!!!! I first heard this song on the radio in about 1991 0r 2 lol I dont wanna go public with the reason it gives me so many memories :-)

  • How good is this ? .. Lol

  • A real 'one hit wonder'- It peaked the third week of November in1991. Stigers is from Boise, Idaho and still lives there today.

  • what year did this song come out?

  • @engine8feo 1991

  • You're right -- his voice is so soulful and passionate. And the sax -- wow! Can't believe this passion! I first heard this guy when I was living in Japan; his music made me yearn for coming back to the States where emotions were more overtly expressed. I bought the CD, took one look at his high cheekbones and gorgeous hair, and melted (girls, y'all know what I mean)! I was so surprised upon my return; this dude was from my home town and living a few blocks away from me in Boise, ID!

  • This is an unbelievable song. Curtis Stigers's vocals are so SOULFUL and I was surprised to see was also the super talented and soulful saxophone player! The fact that he is hot with his strong jaw doesn't hurt either. I have been listening to music for 45 years and I'll put this right up there as one of the best songs ever.

  • I just moved to Bath, UK when this song came out. It played everywhere I went and has always been a reminder of the great and weird time I spent living in Bath. Never had a chance to see Curtis sing this before You Tube . . simply brilliant song and brilliant performance.

  • this song make me want grow my hair long

  • this song bad ass!

  • Brilliant !

  • This is on MTV2 right now. WTF

  • busessuck1 needs to look up humpty dumpty, 3 blind mice and the grand old duke of york more his/her type of music

lay in room 46? Of course you do! I love you as much now as I did 20 yrs ago! We CAN have something real. Reply to this so I know you've read it. I don't live in Aylesbury anymore, but send a lettre to Como Road and I will get it somehow. All my love George. XXXXXXXXXXX

  • @flash4cat Hi george....... did u ever find pauline ??????

  • @closbt Hello 'closbt'. Thanks for your interest, but no, I never found her. I wonder who you are. Was there something in my comment that rang a bell with you. Perhaps you think you knew her, or even still in touch with her. Please make yourself known.

    All the best,.....George.

  • @flash4cat Hi george, sorry but i don't know pauline, was just the old romantic in me that hoped you'd been reunited , take care ... x

  • Busessuck1 is a moron. You must be 15 years old

  • Busessuck1 is a moron. You must be 15 years old

  • Anyone who likes this is a faggot, especially people at the edinborough "jazz and blues" festival

    also @4everumaga lol

  • @pbrew85 Suicide?

  • I took me (almost) 20 years to figure out the artist and the song!!!

    Now I have it, thanks!!

  • I luv the sound of this guys voice i used to have a massive crush on him when i was younger, wish he would make a come back ,

  • Even though the 90s had some crap music (i.e. boy bands, hip hop), there was tons of good stuff too, like this song. I think it was the last decade that really had "future oldies".

When I say that, I mean songs that were still influenced by the past (as far back as the 40s-50s). Like how this song is very emotional and has that old school jazz flavor.

  • @JPMcFly1985

mid 90s had some sweet tunes... 80s had a few nice ones too when you wade through all the crap...

00's has been a disaster with endless poor cover versions masqueraded as new songs shamelessly

  • great song, one of his best!

  • Naughty Ladies waiting for some one mworld5.info

  • Hadn't heard this song in years until I heard it in my truck on XM Satellite tonight and had to look for the video when I got home. What a great tune....

  • love the classic one

  • brill

  • Still love this song .. so romantic ..

  • He's good but Craig David sangs it a little better, but a love that saxophone part. He killed it. Love this song!

  • lol this dude's voice does not match his appearence

  • @BeASimpleMan - certainly not in this video. Doesn't look right with the long hair. We just managed a concert for him last night in Bloomington Illinois, and his hair is now conventionally short (and a little gray). He STILL puts on a tremendous show. Helluva artist.

  • love this song, describes how I feel about love

  • love this song wat a classic

  • Sometimes people doesn't have the courage to say what they really feel, and act like a coward...

  • i remember havin his album on vinyl, hes fab!!

  • A great slow dance in Mc Elroys, with a drunk woman ! They were the days

  • He's kinda amazing :)

  • Reminds me of Ben Mills!

  • Love this! Don't make songs like this any more.

  • Where did my youth go?

  • the guy really brings it. For those close enough, I see where he is playing in Vail, CO on Thurs Aug 26. This is a free concert that is part of the Jazz at Vail Square series they do on Thurs nights in the summer. I might not make it, but maybe a few fans that catch this....

  • How he looks now is the real Curtis Steigers he looks wonderful.

  • I heard this song over an over again as I was leaving NYC to get way from a bad relationship. The song means so much to me, you never forget, two years later I met the love of my life and we have been together 18 years. Chris F.

  • top chooon

  • How can a man have so much heart and passion.

  • Gotta thank discomolo for postin this man...this takes me back havn't heard this for years! What a song...shit I had good taste when I was a little kid!

  • Awesome!! Great song!!!

  • this song has a very nice lyric and l love it so much thanks for posting it

  • One of the best underrated singers in the world. Its criminal that this guy is'nt a major world famous singer. If he had slept with a politician, beat up someone, or just been controversial.. no doubt he'd be a huge name. Thats how celebrity works..pretty sad. "Keep me from the cold" is Curtis's best song in my opinion... saw him sing it here (Ireland) a few years back.

  • perfect and great song

  • This song is some kind of MAGIC...brilliant. Thanks to share friend!!

  • This was the song of my first wedding dance :) So so lovely!

  • piękna piosenka

  • This song reminds me of the time after I got home from the Persian Gulf. I had a girlfriend all the way through the deployment, then a month after I got home, it ended. This song was out during this time, and described my feelings at the time. THanks for posting it.

  • So beautiful, so sad! I often wonder why too..... as the tears of frustration roll down my face. I guess it is because I "just want to find my way back to love"

  • Sons of Anarchy

  • I've always found saxaphones rather orgasmic. But then he sings. And I just kinda melt.

  • tom jones helped curtis on this song.

  • Love, love, love this song... always have. The music, the vocals, the sax, the lyrics - amazing! When I heard it again after all these years, I had to look it up, play it over, copy the lyrics and keep this video so I can "hold on" to hear it once again. Thank you Curtis and thank you for posting the video.

  • ok...this needs to be deleted...only b/c I keep watching it over and over. I forgot this song existed until I saw the clip of Dancing with the Stars last week.

  • I so look forward to seeing Curtis live in Barnstaple on 18 October! I was lucky enough to see him 2 years ago, he was absolutely outstanding and he definitely moved himself into my personal top 5 of live performing Artists! Pity the theatre doesn't allow photography...

  • I don't wander why I love it so much, it's a super classic.

It is a brilliant song and very under-rated.The song itself get alot of airplay on mondernday radio channels which is a measure of how good it is.

  • nice.check out 'gypwin' on you tube as well.

  • i remember my dad got this album because he was too lazy to cancel his 'album of the month' with the book club. how fortunate...

  • What Happened To This Hombre's Music?? Still Performing?

  • nyyydelig:)

  • I'm glad he dropped Arista.

  • I love this artist. His song and his sound. If you like this song you will like "Never saw a miracle." Better yet buy his cd. This song came out in 1991. And I still love it today.

  • I'm absolutly in love with this song <3

  • yeah love this song ,classic ,great voice.

  • passion and power in an amazing man love the voice it sends chills down your spine wow wow is all i can say lol

  • What a talented musician, the guy has a great voice and he's terrific on sax. He has one tough sounding alto, the way he crunches that note at the end of his solo, just awesome. He was ahead of his time, now you have Warren Hill and Mindi Abair doubling as vocals and sax players. And while they do that very nicely, I think Curtis will give either one a run for their money on sax, and his voice makes them both sound like American Idol rejects. Awesome song, been a long time since I heard it.

  • sorry.. but what happened to this guy?? i really like this song. was this one of does one hit wonders of the 90s???

  • He has such an interesting and rich, expressive voice! He conveys alot of emotion in just a few words - you can feel the pain in this frustrating relationship.

  • get over yourself luv

  • 'Tears of FRUSTRATION!' The way he powers out that line, oooh goosebumps!

  • I was thinking same thing

  • Is this the guy from Feargal Sharkey ?? He looks like him

  • He looks alot like him. Good coment

For the ASSHOLE that rated this a dumbs down:

before you rate a coment be to google it, dickhead.

  • look at the size of that suit

  • or did he.....?

  • A guy with so much talent stopped making music way too early.

  • If he does everything half as great as playing sax and singing, I would marry him this very minute :-D
