You have a lovely voice, and this is a beautiful song. I do have one suggestion, though: I think you might try singing a bit stronger. I know it's nervewracking to sing when you know people will be watching--I've done community theater and was always nervous singing in front of people- but it's usually better to just belt it out. Sing from your gut. And if you make a mistake, just keep going. Otherwise, great job! Keep it up!

Even if some of what you said was true, you could have said it a wee bit more gently. It is possible to give not-so-positive criticism without being mean. I mean, how would you feel if she said that about you?
