well you certainly got the box quiet (except for the buzzsaw drive) but i still hear that whiny PSU in the background. for me thats the worst part, i can deal with the loud fans because honestly it doesnt even touch the amount of noise my PC puts out but that high pitched tone from the power supply drives me crazy.

You should use Noctua NF-S12B FLX 120mm fans, those are SUPER QUIET and have very effective airflow! yes they're around 20$ each, but don't forget they also come with a 6 years warranty, and also comes with anti-vibration rubber grommets!

i was whining about the stock 360 fans. as you can see musacekic was taking about the "ORIGINAL CASE"

i would add four custom fans that blow air out like jet and some other fans (put it were it doesn't ruin the air flow) and make it blow air in. it would be a consent air flow.

Just wondering flakko86 as someone that has obviously fixed the 3RR before how is the system running now with your fan setup? Have you had any freezing or lag and have you seen any Red Rings?

i like the lian li case beacuse it stops the rrod and the 2 red lights but wat i dont understand is why do ppl bitvh about the xbox 360 makeing noise with the orginal case i mean like i never ehar it u got to have like super sonic hearing to hear the orginal xboxs nosie and its not like any one pays attention to the nise

Don't get the case. Saw some videos of the temperature of the console and it gets hotter in this one because there is no forced airflow over the GPU.

i definitely interested but i dont want to ruin the 360 by no being able to put it back together.

wow u can tell that the loud noise is coming from the dvd drive, as soon as the xbox starts running the game from the hardrive is suddenly goes silent, a must buy!

It seems that the RROD is caused by the xclamps (they probly acumulate heat), so changing the case will definitely prevent the 360 from getting RROD.

Two questions. Have you noticed any difference in game performance? Is the eject button really hard to reach?

I've read from some that their frame rates improve once they get better cooling, but that the eject button isn't in a good place on this case.

not really....however it IS running a lot cooler and thats pretty much all i care about right now :)

as for the eject button, the button is somewhat small but after a few times ejecting you can get to it no problem

That is so nice. Ive been reading about these case mods on the net but cant afford it at the moment. I got a ms replacement for my rrod but if anything its even louder and the fans whine like a jet engine now which I didnt get before. Im going for a jasper and can only hope its a lot quieter but I doubt it will be

What you should do is put in sound dampening material all around the case since you hate the noise it generates.

oh this is case is MUCH better than sound dampener :) although i think i might need to put some around the dvd drive cuz it vibrates the crap outa the case

Whats with the 2 front fans? Are they the original Xbox360 fans? How did you get these working as well?

the 2 front fans is the one that came with the aftermarket case and an xtra one i had lying around. i just daisy chained them off the stock fan header...but i read that it might overload with that kind of load

How many fans are you running?? i can't get three fans to work, 120mm low power fans. Right now im using the regular 120 it came with in the back and a led light strip to light it up. i can't add any more fans because they won't work.

im running 3. umm i read that running more than 1 fan off the stock header might overload and blow it. so i picked up an atx psu and an adapter and am currently using that to power the xbox. also gonna run the fans wires thru the water cooling slots and hook it up to the psu.
