  • Am I the only one that thinks it looks like Thunderbird 4 used to be a Reliant Robin?

  • 0:13 - 0:34, when I was 7 I once sat in front of the TV and watched, then rewound, then watched those 21 seconds for an entire day

  • @datsfantastic Incredible music, incredible series. LOVE IT.

  • The actors are of a much higher calibre most of what Hollywood and other movie outlets churn out.

  • best show ever!

  • No graphics, lots of scale models, uses ugly puppets.

    THIS SHOW IS AWESOME!

  • Were not rescued 11 peoples

  • 11 people are not 'Go'.

  • @arizonaatheist 11 people are not F.A.B.

  • i have got all the thunde birds on dvds

  • Hahah SUPERMARIONATION. Like to see that state

  • @whatthepingas Supermarionation was formed from Marionette and Animation - to make the name for the style used in this and several over similar model/puppet based programmes of the 1960's. Of course it sounds pretty funny after Nintendo's character!

  • It's that final fanfare (1:26-1:29) that does it for me! Barry Gray forever, and Thunderbirds are Go!

  • I have the Thunderbirds Movie and I'm not talking about the live one, but the 1960's one and man I like that movie.

  • We had a clear out on sunday and i found loads of old thunderbirds videos, man brings back good memories

  • America...Fuck Yeah!!!

  • @SuperBisping

Oh hey~! So cool to see that I finally made a friend on youtube who also doubles as a stalker. O happy day!

  • @Angeldustification yep, thunder birds sounds about right for you matey,

given your obvious infantile messages, and backward literacy.

Were you ass-raped by daddykins as a child? or are you just naturally fucking

    retarded? which is it dipshit?

  • @SuperBisping

    hah

  • @Angeldustification why are you so scared of breast cancer?

    and going to hell?

The demon of fear loves it when you do that, you play right into his hands.

I suggest you buy some marsh-mellows, that way when you suddenly drop dead,

you'll at least have something to cook in the flames, you hellbound mutahfucka!

  • The 9 who didn't like were puppets. They got their g-string tangled up and pressed the wrong button. I miss this type of intro.

  • fantástico!

  • 5男は宇宙に置き去り

  • I remember this show when I was a kid. Yes, my name, John Tracy, is the same as the space station monitor and is part of the reason I like Thunderbirds.

  • Are you go? 'Cause Thunderbirds are.

  • @mikeab71 F.A.B.

  • Just realised I was smiling broadly as I watched this.

  • ah the magic of childhood.

  • T'birds was my fave program growing up .But i was wondering who did the voice of Scott Tracey? His voice could make saying "I 'm going down to the shops "sound like a life and death situation!!And though I am a fan can someone tell me what F A B stands for?I am assuming its not Freakin Alright Brother!!

  • @toeboe106 it meant Fabulous.

  • @jackmn22 lol! how did 1-5 go?

  • This music should be our national anthem.

  • FAB-ulous.

This intro is from "Vault Of Death." Parker's past as a criminal comes back to haunt him when a former cellmate escapes vowing to rob the Bank Of England and a new vault has been installed that traps an absent-minded bank employee.

  • Who had the guts to disliked this?!?!

  • :[____________________________________]3

    Parker: Yes M'Lady!

  • CLASSIC, TOTAL CLASSIC!!!!!!

  • Apparently Barry Humphries ( aka Dame Edna Everage) did a few of the voices

  • I remenbered when i was a young kid I watched this prgram. Exellent!

  • 5 4 3 2 1... International Rescue save the world for free.

  • This is true and I have rehearsed it when drunk - however i assure you this is for real. At my cremation when the coffin starts to roll I want this music played and I'll finally get to be a Internation Rescue Thunderbird!

  • Oh i loved this film so much. best pupet film ever!!! i'm hoping that they were pupets, correct me if im wrong :D

  • @AnimeRM4 They are all brothers :L

  • international rescue are a real entity give them all the support you can

  • Brraaiinnsss

  • Each time i hear the count down i remember my tracy island set i got as a kid xD

  • Wow I was only 4 but I remember this show..........

  • Why there were no black characters in the series?Anyone ever wondered that?

  • @sidneybarretos It was the 1960's. There weren't many African immigrants living in UK at that time, IIRC.

  • @HammerBirchgrove Apparently Lieutenant Green was the first black character ever introduced in a Gerry Anderson series. Before Captain Scarlet, there were no black characters at all.

  • @hoppity42 Thanks, that's interesting. I plan to get Captain Scarlet (and other Anderson shows) some time.

  • @hoppity42 - Don't forget, also, that The Angels consisted of five women who were French, white American, African-American, British and Sino-Japanese.

  • @JBofBrisbane hooray for multiculturalism :)

  • @sidneybarretos I'd read that Gerry Anderson wanted to include a black character in Fireball XL5 but wasn't allowed to. Captain Scarlet had a black agent in Lietenant Green and an Oriental character in Harmony Angel

  • @sidneybarretos you also gotta realise that attitudes were different back in the 60s. Anderson might've been all for introducing non-white characters but others weren't. happily, times have changed :)

  • single greatest show a kid could watch when born in the 90s :P

  • My favourite programme as a kid.Brilliant .Lol I remember thinking Alan was gorgeous !!! Ha Ha Ha !

  • Damn, Lady Penelope gives me wood!

  • @billt460 she is wood...

  • Another show i use to watch back in the early 70's.

  • i always watched this show here in nyc.

    chud1able

  • i never knew what supermarionation was.but i got a kick on that epic sound !!!!!

  • i love the way that the first part is just a preview of the episode u r about 2 watch. its like YEA LOOK AT THIS AWESOME SHTI WHICH U ONLY GET 2 SEE IF U KEEP WATCHING DIPSHIT!!!!!!

  • This was always preceded by the famous ITC Presents Intro.

  • I heard that John was so bored in that space station that he went round the bend.

  • the good old time's i loved that show and still do

  • Thunderbirds, FUCK YEAH! Coming again to save the motherfucking day, yeah! Thunderbirds, FUCK YEAH! Freedom is the only way, yeah!

    Oh, wrong movie.

  • @MaxxTheSlash There is no swearing in Thunderbirds, don't spoil a classic by being stupid.

  • @TheophilusPWildbeest

Hey ass, I was making a joke about Team America: World Police. The characters in that movie are marionettes just like The Thunderbird's characters are, so I replaced the word "America" in the America, Fuck Yeah song with Thunderbirds.

    Calm the hell down.

  • @MaxxTheSlash Durka Durka...

  • I'm 51 and i still don't know what 'FAB virgil' means . . . . use to think it meant 'from all the boys' (when i was a kid) come on someone fill me in . . .

  • @treborif watched an interview with the creators, FAB literally meant nothing they just thought it sounded cool

  • @TakeToTheSeas - what!!? I feel like ive been taken for a ride . . . I loved the four front wheels on lady Penelope's roller too . . . .

  • @treborif googled it and found this "Show creator Gerry Anderson has been quoted as saying it simply meant "fab" as in "fabulous," however it's also known to stand for "Fully Acknowledged Broadcast." but i'm sure i saw an interview where he said it just sounded cool. haha pretty classic

  • Videcolor? That's amazing!

  • what rubbish is this, man old times im sitting listening to this and its making me want to be sick

  • Haha I remember watching thunderbirds when I was a child lol, best this on tv, mind you stingray,Joe90 and captain scarlet was all good to,

  • One of the best shows ever made..pure genius

  • I like the stereo mix - did you do this or did it come this way?

  • Was'nt David Coulthard in this show?

  • who was fans of this, captain scarlet (before it got animated) and/or stingray?

  • @lugiametagross162 Thunderbirds taught me how to count from 5 to 1... FACT

  • Brings tears to me EYES!

  • Oh, the memories XD I used to watch this all the time when I was really young! xD

  • Its NATO, sorry I mean Thunderbirds !!! to afghanistan we go !!

  • I actually saw Captain Scarlet before Thunderbirds, as it was still being shown in first run. I didn't catch up with International Rescue until the repeats came on ITV, but what a show! I miss all that Gerry Anderson stuff on TV - even if I do own it all on DVD. I wonder what the new Thunderbirds series will be like, his CGI Captain Scarlet wasn't bad.

  • Lady Penelope = Joanna Lumley

  • Shows that had people smoking, explosions and litteral action and suspence, something that can complete a childhood and I'm happy to be in it.

  • I always wanted to be on Thunderbird 2!

  • America FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GERRY ANDERSON IS BRINGING BACK THUNDERBIRDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No joke, he really is. I just read about it on the Sun Newspapers Website on the TV Biz section. It's going to be C.G.I. .

He feels it's the right time to bring the Series back. All i can say is - F.A.B. !!.

  • @doctorwhoone let's hope it's true!and that it doesn't suck like the movie

  • @doctorwhoone cgi...i think that ruins it...you ask people what they think of when you say puppets and they would have said "thunderbirds, captain scarlet ands stingray" now it's all cgi and has lost it's nostalgia

  • @doctorwhoone lrtsd just hope it iosnt like captin scalet all animated in 3d, classic is the best

  • @doctorwhoone CANNOT WAIT !!!

  • listening to this tune defintly brings back memories

  • Parker has a boyfriend at @0.31sec!!!!

  • Parker was wanking at 0.18 sec!!!!

    Dirty basturd!!

  • You have to love the completely gratuitous explosions at the end hah, awesome!

  • When I get paid I'm straight ordering the boxed set.

  • Awesome. Virgil and thunderbird 2 were always my fav. 60's TV at it's best.

  • PROPAGANDA

  • Absolutely loved this - got a 7 inch record of episode 1 before we had TV & saw the episodes.

The explosions in Thunderbirds (& Captain Scarlet) were unsurpassed at the time on UKTV.

  • that was an awesome show :) i loved them.

  • this brings back memories thanks dude :) (im british by the way)

  • Is he pleasing himself at 0.17? Just kidding. Thx for posting ;)

  • hands down TB1 was the best form of transportation. for those who can't appreciate how brilliant this is, possibly those sitting on the blu-ray and 3D shelf you clearly dont know how different and creative it was in its time, and stil is today. If it was so shit why would it be recognised world-wide,be all over the internet youtube, google etc and loved by millions!!

  • We used to watch this in the 6th form. Great show.

  • ahhh.. the sweet sound of the old days when episodes used to be so good.

  • I am so gonna download this song and set it as my alarm on my phone. Not only would it be an awesome thing to wake up to every morning but I would also get so nostalgic.
