  • your going to wreck the motor and starter u are so stupid and your voice sound like a drunk chip monk

  • your an idiot when i start mine and its 60 years old it dosent throw any grease or anything dlp stands for dumb licking pennis ha ha ha in your face

  • @3j2p3w Bro, before trying to insult someone, learn to spell what your going to write. To start off, your just a 11 year old, that just learned what the word "Penis" means, yes that right "Penis", with one (1) "N", not two (2). Your just trying to show off what you learned in school from your little friends. Next time your going to make up dumb meanings for someone's else user name, look at what your can mean first.

    3 Jackasses 2 Penis-banger and 3 whores...

  • Great vid!!! Could have used it 36 years ago when got my first Cox powered toy!

  • Dude, check out my channel and watch the video "katana is hard to start." much better... in ways....

  • @SecondCocacola Go try to advertise your channel somewhere else.

  • @DLPlanes You were the one that sent me a friend request. ... Which is advertising your channel...

  • Use a syringe to fill the tank and then put 1-2 drops of fuel through the exhaust port onto the piston, it will start at first or second flip then.. and keep away that starter, its WAY to powerful, the first time the engine goes into a hydrolock it will ruin it.

  • what does the needle do?

  • he is too yung to handel rc motors he can be hurt

  • @superrickard30 these engines were designed for kids!!!

  • Respond to this video... BTW that prop is on backwards!!!

  • hey again just wondering how many v your glow ignitor is? can i use a regular one for nitro rc cars? thanks!

  • @mrperryguitar Im not sure if you can use glow plug from a car, because it all depends on the volts. If your engine came with instructions, it should say it somewhere how much volts is needs. I don't want to tell you how much I use because it might burn out your engines, every engine is different. But I regularly use 5 volts.

  • @mrperryguitar Use 1.2-2V on these engines. unless you want to significantly reduce the working life of the glow plug.

  • is that just a regular glow starter you are using? sorry its my first model engine and have no idea how to start it :P

  • @mrperryguitar Its ok, yes you can use a regular glow plug and that should work, if it fits. Don't worry! Ask all the questions you need, that why I make this videos.

  • @DLPlanes haha thanks! in that case just wondering, is the glow head replaceable? like can i buy a new one if it breaks? does it break?

    thanks :)

  • @mrperryguitar Yeap, all glow head are replaceable in any engine. Because someday, they'll eventually burn, or die out. For tiny engines you can find them at ebay.

  • @DLPlanes what should i type in on ebay when looking for one?

  • Great job on the HowTo..... Just ordered couple of cox .049 from ebay (my first glow engines :-))

  • @sudheera001 Awesome! Good luck, there very fun, eventually you'll get the hang of it, and maybe build a plane around the tiny engines. Few tips,

    - use 25% nitro gasoline

    - Clean the engine after use

and very important read the instructions carefully, cause it'll help you a lot!

Believe me, that what helped me when turning on this engines.

    Thank you very much. ~DLPlanes

  • I think the propeller is too big for that engine...

  • @ideeman1994 yeah that prop is very large but i got my pee wee .020 to run a 7 by 5" apc prop

  • electric strting is bad for this kind of engines

  • Oops, you've got the prop on the wrong way around!

  • Actually the Prop is a tractor Prop so it spins the other ways around...

  • Oh ok. My bad. But dont you mean Pusher prop... A tractor pulls...

  • Wow, I could've used this help when I had one on my very first RC plane eons ago, It never flew because i had no help and no clue how to run it, no internet then, lol.

    Thanks for showing this :-)

  • Very cool dude! I like the tips you gave, very useful.

  • wow dude never run a cox enigne on an electric starter thats a great way to bend or even snap the crank shaft k man just a little tip but great vid

  • Yeah... but i'm sure whacking the prop cant do it much good either...

  • Nice engine!
