I don't really get it, why does Haku have such a big impact with Naruto and Sasuke. I mean in the anime, Haku is just another enemy they met and fought.

that may be because Scorpions ULTD created a new storyline, trying to make something non-story related... They've said it thamselves on the website where the download can be found...

I also suggest checking out the fanfiction- it offers quite a good opinion on what's happening. (I write really strange today, by the way... I DON'T say stuff like 'offers quite a ETC' xD)
