It's also good to see you do open hand stuff too. I was gonna add... I use a couple things similar ..in the later parts of the song in the snare part where it's got the 5 beats during your open handed Off-beat Hat part...I usually have a trigger pad rigged with the same snare sound ( a patch I recorded into midi of the same snare) and layer that acoustic snare and clap on the same pad...so it fits with the song:) just an idea, but obviously only in addition to what you're already doing. NICE!!
