    great band.

    chud1able

  • I would love to see Pink Floyd live.....my dad's a huge fan. I'm 31 and I would love to see them in concert. Roger Waters is a Genius.

  • stupendaa...

  • harmonic at 3:34 - bliss :)

  • I'm knee deep in cd's and albums bought since the 1970's - 'Dark Side of the Moon' was the best back then and still is today. Music as good as this is unlikely to be ever repeated

  • @bothrops9 NOPE you are so right - we were so very blessed to be part of the 70s music - from the 50s through the 60s music was evolving to culminate in the huge climax of killer music and musicians - after that everything was the cigarette in bed..

  • Sigh. Now I can't see the video of this song from 1987. It's not available in my country. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago by the way. If that's not censorship then I don't know what is.

  • I would place Gilmour only behind Jimmy Page... though they have too diferent styles.

  • @Alejandrocatheycv Clapton

  • ha! I remember this song i was 13 yrs old in 1977 or around then I wanted to go to the pink floyd animals concert at clkeveland stadium and wasnt aloud i was too young but could hear the crowd from myn home and knew i was misssing a lifetime experience, and now im 47 and still realize that was the concert of my life i missed!!! i should have went anyway damn!!

  • meravigliosa...

  • the lucky bastard was there at the right moment in 1989 , purely by coincedence .

    FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • GREATEST LIVE SHOW YOU WILL NEVER SEE. IT'S SAD WHEN IT'S MEMBERS CAN'T GET PAST THEIR PETTY DIFFERENCES TO GET BACK TOGETHER AND CREATE MORE MAGICAL MUSIC AND TOUR

  • @annuitcoeptus yea but waters cant hold a note anymore

  • I,m thinking they were in a hurry, tempo is way off!

  • I see 20 people who think Friday (Rebecca Black) is a good song!!

  • After 38 years, it's still awesome ; this is classical progessive rock music!

  • Gente di Venezia, io NON c'ero, dannaz...

Poterlo raccontare... ma vivo in Svizzera, argh!

Ancora un paio di spettatori e vi avrebbero AFFONDATI del tutto ;P

  • Up to. 2:13, TIME could easily be the sound track to creation of the Universe.

  • Perfection....

  • Gilmour invented playing the guitar

  • they skipped the last part of the song where its just like real tripped out guitar after he says "thought i'd something more to say". best part of the song goddammit.

  • @1212simonsays thats the next song, it sounds like one continual song, but no theyre different hahaha

  • chi sono quei 20 incompetenti che hanno votatato pollice in giù??? che ignoranza che c'è in giro....... anche per questo il mondo va male ......

  • PELLE D OCA....

  • The charming anthem singers of misery!

  • ritenete giusto concerti di ste dimensioni propio a Venessia?

no pero' iera gratis, vutu do tiri?!

  • @alesssandro1985

C'ero a Venezia e non è proprio il posto per questo tipo di eventi.

  • @EmoCappuchino the world is full of aholes. Don't pay any attention to them. I'm 64 and I'm glad to hear you like the Pink F. Rockon!!

  • Hey, I reviewed Dark Side of the Moon as my latest album review. It's amazing, just not very accessible. The review is on my page if anyone's interested.

  • se nos pasa el tiempo .....el no espera ,que debemos hacer , dime cuando todo haya pasado.....

  • The tempo seems faster than the studio version

  • What year is this?

  • @dannydavis94 July 15, 1989 my friend. There is video for the whole concert available. The "Harvested" edition is possibly the best. Hope this helps you.

  • I love how Gilmour doesnt care about his looking, He rather waste his "Time" making beautiful music.

  • 4.47, that white girl looks like megan fox! :o

anyway, awesome song, love it <3

  • 1 of the classic rock solos absolutly beautiful

  • i was there with thousands of people, listening a wonderful music...

  • gilmour = EPIC WIN

  • Out of sync videos are so cool

  • @shrapnalofficial NICK MASON later Rick wright

  • wow david is a good gituar player, and nick mason rules the rhythem uhh roger is cool, and i guess rick plays the piano like a pro. pink floyd is good, and its my all time faveriote band. i like listening to most of theyre cool stuff, and some of the old stuff like several small furry animals all trapped together and making madness and grooving, That song is trippy!

  • R.I.P. Richard.

  • I've loved Floyd for I think about 12 years now... Considering I'm only 16, I think that's pretty good going... Thank god for parents with epic taste in music.

  • @EmoCappuchino really, no one cares if you have listened to pink floyd for 12 years when you are 16... Why does it matter even? "Wow you are so cool, you don't listen to what other 16 year olds do!!!". Pink Floyd is however the best band that was ever to be flung upon the surface of the earth.

  • @Locksmithj0e ~That is mean~actually it does make him cool if he likes awesome music~like Pink Floyd~so encouragement is what is needed~check it out!

  • Pink Floyd is the greatest Psychedelic band ever

  • @QueenBeatlesWings

    u serious?!

  • Gilmour is so underrated. He is easily as relevant as Page and Clapton.

  • as i listen to "time" its time to rest my weary bones besides the fire.

    ALL HAIL PINK FLOYD.

    chud1able

  • @shrapnalofficial ........Nick Mason is the drummer !!!!! Pink Floyd started back in 1965-66 made their first album 1967.... when they did 'the wall' tours in 1978-1980,,, they started using a second drummer...for 'the surrogate band'... then in most tours since, then they have often had a second drummer... but Nick Mason is the man! and earlier Floyd drumming is much more experimental...... he is the man!!!! so under-rated!!!!!

  • neveroqtno izpalnenie

  • Looks like Dave ate a lot of carbs in Venice.

  • i wish they never broke up :[

i saw roger waters live in chicago and it was the most amazing thing ive seen

  • definition of music

  • @dan1paredes right, if you see a dictionary, should be appear a picture of Pink Floyd in Pompeii

  • @dan1paredes Definition of life itself

  • i really like the guitar solo from 4:06 to 4:32

  • Hallucinogens are the only other drugs you should do than weed if your going to experiment fuck pills, coke, crack, meth have a experience of Psychidelics.

  • @zogetaur Wow, even someone like me comes up with something good once in a while I reckon. The main thing is though, we both agree and appreciate this man and his music. I know I'm thankful he's made it. It's giving me many many hours of enjoyment listening to him. I just wished he toured more. Like me though, he's not a kid anymore!

  • 15 July 1989 - I was there and in Pole Position :) unforgetable concert and my age too.....time fly away but the memories remain always in our souls.

  • Такие вещи не могут не нравиться. Это вне конкуренции

  • Dico solo che c'ero e mi sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo quando li ascolto e li vedo che bello!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That solo is sooo melodic

  • Why can't this be released on DVD. I like it better then the "Delicate Sound" Video.

  • Rachel Fury has longer hair in this video. Man, she is one attractive women. My next girlfriend is going to look as close as possible to her.

  • James May on Guitar

  • Hadn't enough time to play this song? This is nearly twice as fast as it should be. Although, genious song, epic lyrics:

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking

And racing around to come up behind you again

The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older

Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

    ...Brilliant. Truly.

  • chingon rifado asombroso

  • This album will speak for all music for the next 500 years. I can just see people in the distant future going "holy shit...."

  • Why did they cut the end out? Still awesome. Hails.

  • sounds like they are in a hurry

  • i love this song so much !!!!!!!

  • The song about life.....frightening !!

  • I was there for this awesome concert. AND got my old lady to record it from the TV

  • Out of sync!!

  • @AchtungDutch88mm THANKS EINSTEIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • evertime when i look at richard wright i just cry

    GREAAT SONG !!

  • dig them lighted sticks

  • fuck! can't stand that intro :S

  • @chidoTV I reckon it wouldn't be so bad if it went for 1 minute NOT 2 lol.

  • VIENDO PASAR LOS MOMENTOS

    QUE COMPONEN UN DÍA MONÓTONO

    DESPERDICIAS Y CONSUMES LAS HORAS

    DE UN MODO INDECOROSO

    VAGANDO DE AQUÍ PARA ALLÁ

POR ALGUNA PARTE DE TU CIUDAD

A LA ESPERA DE QUE ALGUIEN O ALGO

    TE MUESTRE EL CAMINO...

  • good song thanks for posting.

  • good song.

  • My son quoted this song for his Salutatorian speech during graduation exercises

  • time

  • am sooooooo loving this video right now - comfortable numbnesses to all!!!

  • This was, if i remember correctly, the beginning of their set. It was a free concert by Floyd, they set up on a barge in the lagoon. Numbers ranged from 250k to 500k at the Square. They(Italian police) sealed off the entrances to the square because it was soo packed. It was such an awesome concert. Thee best concert I've ever attended.

  • Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day, thats what i have been doing ALL DAY

  • Is it true that floyd had to turn it down a little for this concert ??????????????

  • Now this is a concert

  • dude... this made my day

  • One of the best.

  • Pink Floyd wrote "Dogs"!

  • amazing drum intro

  • io c'ero mamma mia che ricordi belli ,,,,,,,

  • got the chance to go to this concert thanks to my friend and his dad. his dad works for pink floyd's record company at the time..

  • Damn thats all i can say

  • @elenachkaalenka you suck....

  • Excellent!! but not the same without the ''original'' solo...

  • quiero descargarla plizzzz

  • Muito bom!!!

  • @fedethxen I thought it looked like James May......

  • Wow, that is hilarious. Identical. hahahaha

  • Anyone know what year this is?? thx

  • 1989

  • One of my favourite songs.... good intro by mason......without davi's guitar the song loses importance... this is the tour of A momentary lapse of Reason.....

  • 3:34 Simply the best!

  • Where in Venice? Piazza San Marco?

  • No, on the water :)

  • The intro is what got me into Pink Floyd. That intro blew me away the first time I heard it. My room mate played it and I was like "WHAT IS THAT!!"

  • i dont like it. sounds like mario on terminator playstations... or my clock alarm. This is something that i trully hate, the alarm from clock.

  • youre an asshole

  • you are virgin

PS. Pink Floyd va ramane in toate enciclopediile muzicale (si nu numai) drept una dintre cele mai mari formatii din toate timpurile, tu...unde vei fi (intrebare retorica, desigur!)??!

  • I first heard it on holiday, on my dad's ipod, i listened to the whole thing and was like "... o__O that was amazing!" haha, such a brilliant song by an amazing band :)

  • @MultiFunkalicious

WOOH same thing happened to me! but that wan't an ipod but just a discman :P must've been 8 or something at the time. am 17 now

  • Cuz they know whats coming. TIME. I'll clap too.

  • one of my favorite of all time i am only 19 years old but i totally praise their pink floyd is my musical inspiration at all. . .

sadly richard died no one can replace him ever he is one of the best musician of all times

  • No Breathe Reprise :(

  • RIP Richard Wright

  • Gilmour yes!!!!

  • Oi 'ndemo vedare i pin floi!

  • stalker ure right man i alllllllways think of that. songs these days are remembered for like three years and rarely will u hear them in the mainstream again

  • ive never heard gilmour playing this solo live as it is on the studio album. it shows really how amazing he is that he can continously come up with variations of the solo, it just naturally comes to him.

  • another 200 years and people will see their music like we see the 9th symphony or something....

  • Hopefully the 9th Symphony AND Pink Floyd's "Time" will be remembered. Classical music should never be forgotten.

  • @SstalkerS no that wont happen

  • @SstalkerS I agree, when u got the rush from their music you are never the same...

  • @Fanis753 and you are stupid

  • Gilmour is oftentimes a terribly underrated guitarist. Shredders are fun for 13 year old boys but...Gilmour makes beautiful music!

  • That's true, and it's a shame because he makes the most beautiful solos

  • @kantucky my thoughts exactly

  • @kantucky tbh anyone underrates him the moment they say he isn't the best :D

  • @kantucky he's not underrated... he's very respected in pretty much any circle of well educated guitarrists.

  • @OcelotDAD Note, I said, 'oftentimes' I sure agree with your statement though

  • @kantucky Ohh man, i so agree. Im 17, and i dont find much special in shredding. I mean its fun and shit, but no beauty, no melody in it.

    this is amazing stuff \m/

  • @kantucky gilmour in my opinion is the greatest guitarist of all time. he can hit one note, hold it for 9 seconds, put a little bend in it, and send chills up your spine (especially in echoes). no other guitarist has ever played notes in such beautiful sequence, in my opinion.

  • @glass509

    Jeff Beck?

  • @mario64guy jeff beck is extremely talented. like i said, that was my opinion. david gilmour can move my soul, put my mind at ease, enlighten me, and put me in acoustical heaven with his guitar playing.

  • @mario64guy Not a chance.

  • @glass509 you're fucking right.. He is definitly the best ever

  • @glass509 absolutely right, sir....

  • @glass509 Dave Mustaine: "David Gilmour can do more with one note than most guitar players can do with the whole fretboard."

  • @demonizer123 I agree. I have never listened to any music that makes me feel like Gilmours guitar.

  • @glass509 Heck yess!!! And do it the same exact way a hundred times in a row!!

  • @glass509 yeh maybe not the faster or great in virtuosims but imo gilmour has the best sound ever

  • @glass509 amen brother

  • @glass509 Oh I know what you mean. That guitar solor gives me chills every time I hear it
