No...believe it or not, I had the bike measured and it was completely straight! Had to replace, tank, bodywork, subframe, peg, clip on, exhaust can and a few other little things. I expected the damage to be a lot worse given how many times it cartwheeled. Bike is back together and ready to go.
dont blame the tires..i hate when ppl do that..i run american 208 GP's n they stick great on T-hill..there cuda been a number of different reasons for ur crash..glad ur ok tho
You're wrong. Go ask Lance Keigwin or AFM'ers about them. They'll tell you they suck. Lance won't sell to people running better than 2:14's (I found out later). There's a reason. It wasn't 100% the tires; I was pushing hard in that corner on lap 2, first session of the day, day two on the tires, lots of heat cycles, and no tire warmers. I've NEVER had issues with UK's under the same conditions, running faster lap times. US 209's are crap and I will never run them again. You've been warned.
CRAZY! Glad it was a lowside and you are pretty much all right.
I just bought an NTEC takeoff from dunlopracing. Guy said he only new rears he had were US 209s, but that he had a bunch of NTEC takeoffs from a recent early red flag race. I said...UK please!
I always take turn 3 close to the inside because that same thing happen to me.

Yeah, I usually take it tight and decided I won't take it wide like that again.

Turn 3 is off camber isn't it? I don't like turn 3 much.

Yep...and in addition to different tires, I will try not to take that line through there at speed anymore.

UK made 209's or Dunlop slicks.

So, which tires you run now?
