@VivienistheName Some hamsters just realy don't like each other... and sometimes they're just play-fighting. If you see blood, then it's REAL fighting and, unfortunately, it's best to just keep them separate because there's no real way of making them stop fighting each other.

oh no i did not. they have really short life span. like just 2 years. I'd had about 10 of them in the past few years for 2 years and I'd seen them give birth and die from various diseases and also cus of "old age". It was a really heart-breaking experience although some of them enjoyed biting me real hard till I had to wear thick gloves while handling them...I don't think I can go through the experience again...

@smexycutiepie123 I have a mixed group of 3 female dwarf hamsters, 2 of them are siblings and 1 came later, they get along swimmingly. However I think it's different for hamsters. I read at several places that hamsters are solitary animals, they don't love living in packs, and they don't need a partner (unless it's a male). So if I were u, I would enjoy having a single hamster. If u really want a new one, make sure both hamsters are females and u have enough food&water containers in the cage.
