I am a long time MGS fan and I play xbox but remaking was a bad idea it can't compete with MW3 battlefield and such even though it's better the only people buying it are long time fans and collectors kids now adays don't know what real games are.

@ThePitNik its a copyrigt issue, twin snakes is a remeke of MGS1 but konami and kojima own no rights whatsoever, and when they gave the permission for it to be remade, they wasnt expecting to do a hd remastering. so in the contract it probably states that kojima have nothing to do with it and therefore even if they wanted to remaster that they wouldnt be allowed without spending excess time and money

They didnt include MGS1 because Kojima wants to remake it at some point in the future..he says the remake will be the true MGS1 experience and thats why he doesnt want to include the PS1 version in the collection
