Sir Handel needs the long wheelbase chassis not the short wheelbase chassies.

I think that you've done a fantanstic job with the paint, though a layer of varnish is much needed.

If you mean Midlander (aka Rusty) then Meridian Models sells that kit but it doesn't come with buffers (you need to get them separately)

Are the OO9 Skarloey Engines (which you made) smaller than Bachmann Thomas and Friends (HO)?

@Trackmaster14 ??? no, that wont help, the nose is the loosness of the gears meshing together on the front end of the motor.

yes I have, N Drive told me it was the case with there loco chassis, but they do quieten down in time

My little sister said that, i have yet to put weight in Sir Handel to fix the bouncing (he acts like Skarloey in Bucking Bronco)
what do use as weight, im trying to find out what is best for my Sir Handel ;-)
Maybe some lead shot (Mad Marty on SIF suggested that, ask him)
@godred01 you can buy liquid led, tiny balls of led for ballasting purposes, you can buy it in model shops that stock things for models boats usually
