Goa is India, the most beautiful Indian State, but during more than 400 years also it was of Portugual, and one sees it today in the architectural patrimony (Churches, forts, houses), in the music, the local kitchen, in the culture in general, péro I do not look at it in this video
I love the video good job seeing how it was your first time filming and editing it. wow three months must have been fantastic, my boyfriend is taking me to Goa in February 2010 it will be my first trip to Goa i doubt it will be my last, my boyfriend has been once before,
First, thanks for your feedback. It's good you let people know that this is not a serious documentary about Goa. Maybe I should call it "Tourist fun on an Indian beach". It was the first video I made, I had a lot fun doing it, and it might encourage some people to go and visit Goa. Look on the positive side.
@srajano Hey Sjarno, I wanted to go there for a long time, but i'm a bit worried about the hygiene, can you tell me a little more about how the food is and how you wash and go to the toilet in Goa please?
@DaZeDmerlin Drink bottled water and cooked rather than raw food, and you will minimize risks. At worst you get a little stomach problem. It is a small price to pay to visit this wonderful country. And, no matter what happens, India has excellent world-class medical services, and cheap too, so why worry. Risk a little, or else your life will be really boring, wouldn't you agree?
Man... Besides the Beach.. what else is GOA here, its rather INDIA..... i'm a Goan and i dont think this is Goa, Sorry Mate! its funny there's not a Single Goan person on the Video, Goan Old House Yes, all the Hawkers and people seen selliing are from other States and not Goan people... and Domestic Tourist on the beaches... u just Missed the real Goa, next time catch a Goenkar and it'll make a difference... Viva Goa!
im glad you loved goa...unfortunately you haven't represented the culture that sets it apart from the rest of india in your video. and that's just an awful shame.
nice!i was there in january 2005 i just wasn't lucky to made real GOA party because the government has forbidden it...but it was one of my best holidays ever!!!!
Yeah, nice vid man. Anjuna market footage is a giggle... come and see my shop/cheap price! The warcry of the market traders. Excellent. Just one thing missing though. Where are the ear cleaning men? ;o)
ah thanks for doing that - whilst all out views are personal, it reminded me so much of when i was there about 12 months ago! cant wait to go back! thanks again
glad to see that you're sharing your Goa with us I'm more an Arambul person but what the hell i'm not going out this year so this will do. Thanx and namaste

@mrcarlito976 There are a few different tracks. How many minutes into the video are you talking about, and maybe I can remember which track it is.

great video. Do you know Thornton, an English guy. He lives near the market. He must have a nice house. He married an Indian girl. Does anyone?

If it is a personal view, then that is fine. And I am sorry for my remarks.
The problem with Goan identity is it is often more defined by its visitors than by the real Goans themselves.

With all due respect, I do not feel this represents Goa.
manyshadesofbrown 5 years ago
It is of course a very personal view of some scenes which struck me as memorable. What would represent Goa to you?
