OMG I remember when two of my friends and I went to Japan. Both of them had blonde hair...I'm Korean by the way. And while I was cast aside my two friends were treated like rock stars over there. That's so cool. My dad was in China many times, and also to Japan a couple....he said that everyone likes to give the peace sign over there....even little ones know to do it from an early age. I don't know when they started doing this, but I understand that it is a very socially popular thing to do.

OMG I remember when two of my friends and I went to Japan. Both of them had blonde hair...I'm Korean by the way. And while I was cast aside my two friends were treated like rock stars over there. So many (japanese girls) were taking pictures of them touching their hair saying "kawaii" LOL it was hilarious. Generally the Japanese were kind and treated us all well.

I hate to say it, but what you are seems to earn you some points over there...
They're generally respectful and eager to meet all Westerners, but native English speakers are definitely given more preferential treatment. They don't have much use for Koreans or Chinese - or any other Asians for that matter. :)
But I really am generalizing. They're a wonderful people living in a wonderful society. You'd have a blast there! I always have.
