  • annoying ... does this represent the modern society ?

  • yah well i am an American too..so whats your point matie.....

  • @nativeskygirl Never mind--I watched it again. You're right. :-/

  • @Nativeskygirl I cringed as well, but perhaps we heard the question out of context? Maybe they were discussing the relative ease of the boarding process? I hope so.

  • I just love how Americans say Buckingham Palace! lol

  • i dont understand this. according to the rail europe site you can only get to Ashford International Station after leaving paris, not before. so how did u guys stop in Ashford BEFORE Paris?

  • @howardkevinm Um what? The train going the other way...... :S

  • SHHHHH, I can't hear the conductor

  • 1:30 LOVE that zebra print

  • Cool vid, i've only travelled through the tunnel on the vehicle shuttle, so it's interesting to see what Eurostar is like.

  • Way Cool! Thanks for this. And yes, I did smile at the toilet flush:)

  • woman asks man with OBVIOUS french accent

    1) "have you been to paris before?"

    2) "is it better than here (london)?"

aughhhhhhhh!!! & she's obviously American. what an embarrassment!

  • For the record, there's no comparison between London and Washington, DC, even though they're both "capital cities." I'm sure there are "many better places" in Britain and France, but if a traveler chooses to go to London or Paris, it's because they are metropolitan cities of cultural and historical significance, the way Europeans might see NYC.

  • Thumbs up if you smiled at the toilet flush.

  • Very good .Thanks.

  • Très bien tes vidéos

Ca reste un souvenir de Waterloo

    Very good your videos

It is a souvenir London Waterloo station

  • cant wait until the German ICE train is gonna run through that tunnel

  • wow

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • Nice video, can you tall me, what is the cost to travel by Eurostar from London to Paris?

  • @100Garifuna no more than £50 or less return. Especially if you book 2/3 months in advance

  • Hi. Thanks for sharing this video. Very helpful. I am planning to travel to London at the end of Nov. I will definately consider to add Eurostar to Paris.

  • So glad to see the Medway Viaduct on there... I used to live a 5 min drive from there, and would sometimes walk to school across it; but I live in Canada now having moved 5 years ago. Aproximately 15 seconds to cross it, that's fast - takes about 15 MINUTES to walk it! I think I'm getting homesick.

  • which class was that?

  • what a journey it must be on this train

  • Wow the announcement sounds like one from VIA Rail Canada. It's done in English, then in French, and they mention things like "other passengers will be boarding so please occupy the seat on your ticket".

  • wow it would be weird going on a train and then go across the sea to a different country

  • My Aunt, Mom and I are planning a trip to France in the future. Just getting the info now and showing her the videos.

  • Everything depends on when you're booking your ticket. Avoid peek season and book in advance so you can get return ticket even for 60 pounds! Good thing is also "night clubber" ticket which costs 50 pounds return and is valid from Saturday 4PM till Sunday 10:30 AM (that's your deadline to get on your train).

  • u can get a return ticket if you book it arround 1 month in advance £60 pounds

  • you showed a tiolet LOL

  • I recently came to Paris via London with my mum on board the Eurostar (we are visiting from Canada). Travelled from St. Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord.

Quite interesting ride! I also love the sounds of the train accelerating!

  • I plan to take the same route over the summer very soon.

  • how much is a pound in american money?

  • lol

1 pound equal to 1 and hald dollar

    lol

  • i might be going form London to Calais In October

  • Very well done mate......it really is a gud video for first timers like myself, helps get the idea about the journey and how it looks...

  • Yes it is

  • Is that an attendant talking?

  • I just came back from my Eurostar trip back to Brussels. Not many things have changed ever since you took that video.

I like how you caught all the details on camera.

  • i've been to the USA 5 times and ive been to canada. I've not been to washington DC, florida or LA. I like to get out and explore the 'real' USA.

  • i live next to DC and i have to use the metro system about every day to go into DC, and i also live in Florida (Tampa) with my mom. but i also would like to go to LA =]

  • do you hear that american woman. have you been to paris before. is it better than here? americans only ever go to the capital cities. ive been to the USA 5 times and have NEVER been to washington DC.

Britain and France have MANY better places that london and paris respectively

  • Agreed. So true

  • What the hell would you expect of most international travelers??? Everyone the world over visits the major places of popularity first quite naturally! And you're wrong, most European deliberately visit New York City, Florida, L.A. and Washington D.C. FIRST! Get your facts straight!

  • xman4un is right. There's reason for hitting up the cities. If you've never been to DC, I've got to say that you're missing out on soo much. I love it there so much, I just spent my spring break there, as well as some other "nearby" areas. It's filled with an incredible amount of history w/ tons of culture. People from all over the world visit and work there. I'd say 1/3 of the tourists were international. Considering it's the nation's capital, that's a lot.

  • @harrychown1989 she is loud

  • @harrychown1989 Washington DC is only the political capital of the US.

We visit London and Paris because those are the capitals and more accessible cities.

  • @harrychown1989 That's maybe because Washington D.C. has nothing to do. I bet you've been to New York City many times, which is the equivalent to London and Paris.

  • @harrychown1989 Yes but London and Paris are big cities more than they are capitals. We have plenty of beaches and swamps and mountains and alps and whatever in the US. People go to Paris and London for the culture just like people go to NYC or San Francisco.

  • sadly, it is not a cheap ticket. but as lond as suckers are willing to pay it, they are willing to charge it

  • Nice vid! Last year I was on an interrail tour with my friends. We went to Paris and wanted to take the route to London, but we had to pay 70 Euros extra for the Eurostar, so we didn't! :-(

  • My Uncle and Auntie have travelled on the Eurostar from St Pancras International to Brussels

  • Im going on the Channel Tunnel tomorrow for the first time and can't wait, thanks for the vid !!!

  • Great video! I travelled from the new St Pancras to Brussels last week and it seemed soooo mucb quicker than from Waterloo, about a minute after it left St Pancras it went into a tunnel and 5 minutes later its out in the country and at full speed, its amazing, the whole of east london gone in 5 mins.

  • thank you for make this video of high quality.Very good filmed and nice to see.

  • at 4:12, which station were you passing through.

  • That's a Vauxhall station

  • i travelled from the new st pancras to lille on thursday and it the station is just amazing u have to see it to believe it

  • i would like to see st pancras now its done

  • It used to be slightly more than 2 and a half hours. Since opening St. Pancras International one can get to Paris in 2 hours 15 minutes

  • Thanks! I was just browsing around and wondered what it would be like to ride this train - so I searched and your video popped up!

  • i like how you felt the need to film the toilet lol

  • This is really cool, very interesting. Thanks so much for uploading!

  • Very interesting - thank you for filming this

  • this video brought back alot of memories..except my friend was dancing to beyonce and i was laughing like a fool while the ppl on the train were sleeping lol

  • It remind me when i travel to London, thank you :D

  • yeh i like it well filmed

  • Not as good as Shinkansen Bullet but not bad. I guess they onli hire from France. lol

  • Great video, thanks, I've been on that train so many times it's a much better experience than taking the plane. I don't mind about the toilets. I can't wait for St. Pancras to open it will cut the journey down to 2h15min.

  • by the way the line speed is 300kmph (186mph) not 250

  • OK I will not next time but it's still part of a train, isn't it?

  • nah! go ahead and show it! the whole point of watching stuff like this is to see what they look like! and yes, the bathroom is still part of the train, so we want to see it too!!

    thanks for the vid

    Pao
