For those of you who don't live in District 22 (my district) DeLay won the primary, only to resign, (he was unelectable because the walls were coming down) No other Republican could appear on the ballot, and we were left to write in a last-minute INCREDIBLY WEAK Republican, all because of Delay.
Fortunately, MY republican vote is now just as important as DeLay's. Maybe more important, because I still live in Texas district 22.

There was also a provision in the shamnesty bill where illegal immigrants would not be required to pay any back taxes! You're in favor of rewarding people who break the law! The Geneva convention doesn't apply to terrorists! It only applies to people in uniform. The world is ugly, who in the hell cares what they think. Our survival is more important. Enemy combatants do not belong in civilian courts! If anything they should go before a tribunal like our enemies did right after WW2, including the Korean war and the Vietnam war. They have never been brought here and given contutional rights!
