Just gotta say well done - this is brilliantly done - mainly in terms of being a "fan" of someone and not realising that they are not someone to be fans of - like writing to a serial killer in jail might be fun and interesting but if they knew you on the outside chances are they'd use you and kill you and think you dumb for ever trusting them.

you've turned the Joker into a simple sadistic serial killer. You obviously do not understand the character, this is not Otis from the Devils rejects. Jokers actions all have a purpose, there's reason to his madness. He has a point he's trying to prove. He doesn't just take pleasure out of peoples pain, he doesn't kill randomly, there's always a point to prove, some larger goal. He's a sociopath, not a sadist.
the difference is that a sociopath doesn't feel empathy, and a sadist takes pleasure out of other peoples pain. When Joker killed the Batman copycat it was to prove that Batman hadn't made Gotham better. When he killed the thug with a pencil it was to show he couldn't be pushed around. He didn't do it just for fun. Besides, Joker loves fans, because he's a man with a cause, and those kind of men always love fans. He might abuse and kill his fans to further his goal, but not right at the out set.
Alright I'll give you that, fans make followers, followers make henchman, and henchman help you attain a position in the public eye. To make the public watch their perfect little worlds get crushed and smothered is what is truly hilarious
correct, I think we're in agreement. my only problem with this video is that, as chilling and well done as it is, it's an inaccurate portrayel of the character. Joker didn't torture Harvy Dent or Rachel before he tried to blow them up. I can admire what the creators of this video tried to attempt, and it was well done, but they failed in what they set out to do because ultimately they don't understand the Jokers motives as a villian.
To analyze fictitious characters does not require artist/trademark affiliation. Literary and film criticism is generally written by those with no association to the creating artist. I'm not a Batman scholar, but I have always been fascinated with the mythos of Batman. In my conceit of the character I feel they have misrepresented him, that is all. I can appreciate it as decently scripted and well put together production, but I feel it is a disservice to a prodigious character. You may disagree.

The voice immitation was superb for the most part. A few tweaks here and there(on the laugh mostly. I'm paricular on that the most. :D) and you'll have perfected it. Make up needs work in the mouth area. Other than that, omg I CAME. :3
The idea is great. I, too, have been considering a Cloverfield/Joker crossover fan film, but haven't really gone through with any ideas. But this is great. I love the idea. The guy playing the Joker isn't very good, but the film itself is very professional. The apple was a great idea!

King, seeing as he is acting as the Joker, meaning this would be set in Gotham city, if you take the time to read some fanfictions you will see there are quite a few places in Gotham where he would actually go unnoticed, or with few to hardly any people challenging him.
The Narrows is one place, there are also a lot of warehouses in Gotham near the Narrows where he could easily walk around in broad daylight.
I think the whole idea of this video is good, but the fact that you are taking on Heath's Joker and you are trying to copy him with the voice and the look, it turns out to look very poor. The acting is very poorly done, I sort of like the voice, but it's sort of like you're reading the lines while you speak, and the times when you try and act mad and raise your voice is just funny. Nice try though
This was really disturbing, creepy but quite good. I didn't really like the bit at the end with the Joker's laugh..it didn't sound right and you should work a bit on your Joker voice.

The idea is great. I, too, have been considering a Cloverfield/Joker crossover fan film, but haven't really gone through with any ideas. But this is great. I love the idea. The guy playing the Joker isn't very good, but the film itself is very professional. The apple was a great idea!
A really good effort. The guy playing the Joker needs to work on his voice and acting though. And the make-up needs sorting out a bit.

King, seeing as he is acting as the Joker, meaning this would be set in Gotham city, if you take the time to read some fanfictions you will see there are quite a few places in Gotham where he would actually go unnoticed, or with few to hardly any people challenging him.
The Narrows is one place, there are also a lot of warehouses in Gotham near the Narrows where he could easily walk around in broad daylight.
If you don't like this then do not watch it.

I think the whole idea of this video is good, but the fact that you are taking on Heath's Joker and you are trying to copy him with the voice and the look, it turns out to look very poor. The acting is very poorly done, I sort of like the voice, but it's sort of like you're reading the lines while you speak, and the times when you try and act mad and raise your voice is just funny. Nice try though

This was really disturbing, creepy but quite good. I didn't really like the bit at the end with the Joker's laugh..it didn't sound right and you should work a bit on your Joker voice.

The apple with razors scared me!! LOL! Excllent movie, this is a WAY better Joker the TDK. I think if they had made TDK joker this dark, it would have been rated R. I still loved TDK, don't get me worong.

Wow! Great video! I particularly liked when Joker snuck up behind the kid!
However, there's just one little nitpicky thing that I'd like to mention. This is just my personal preference, but Joker seemed a little restrained to me. Personally, I would think that he would be bouncing off the walls (figuratively, of course) at the news that he had a fan.
Of course, that's just my opinion. It's a great short film nonetheless, and I look forward to October!

That was awesome. The only thing you could improve on is the Joker's voice. Maybe you should dub the Joker's lines over the video with someone who sounds more like the Dark Knight Joker.
