George Wittell Jr. also commissioned what I believe to be the most beautiful automobile ever built, the"Larger the Life" Duesenberg Weymann Fishtail. An amazing boat tail speedster built on the 153.5 inch limo chassis. He also commissioned a breath taking boat, the "Thunderbird" and had quite an enviable life.

Mercedes 500K, 540K are better

Bullshit. The 540K only had 180 horsepower. The stock Duesenbergs had 265. Supercharging upped the power to 320, and the final generation with the ram-air intake reached 400. The 500K and 540K are nice, but let's be serious here; there is no competition. The Mercedes are all show, no go.

there where also stronger versions in the programm mercedes-benz. The 580K (type W129) got 200hp, the 770 (type W150) got 230hp and the 600K (type W157) got 240hp. But the 580K and the 600k were just prototypes which couldn´t be realised because of ww2.
