Love to listen to you play. I have to laugh at the glances as they remind me of my youngest daughter when i made her practice here piano instead of going somewhere she wanted to go . she was about eleven or so. She is grown up and lives in Seattle now.
It;s mine and I love it. I'm getting another one in a couple of months. It's being built. It will be a "Macyn Taylor" signature model. Check the blog on my MySpace page for pictures.
@busker12 - Did that! Looks like another great guitar. Mine is a Simon Fay OM that I got last year. He's a great young luthier in Florida. And I received a new custom guitar from Kevin Ryan this past April. Should have some vids up this Fall.
Ha! You've been playing longer than me! And obviously studied harder too! : )
It would be more fun to come here and get it. Then you could see the shop where it is made and meet the builder. I guess it depends on the price of your order here and how much you would save.
I just started learning "ojo" and am getting pretty good on "the fisherman". your videos have inspired me and your playing is really really impressive. keep it up. you have a real talent and I only wish I had been as serious about guitar and accomplished at that age as you are!
You're really good. I hope you do something with it. Just please don't turn into another one of those Andy McKee guitarists. You have too much skill to be slapping the crap out of your instrument :)
Not to get into a debate on Macyn's page here, but Andy McKee is doing wonders at bringing that style of guitar playing to the world. Not to mention the music he composes himself is incredibly beautiful and impressively challenging to play.
Macyn is great, I'm hooked. Hope to see a video soon of her just goofing around on the guitar, or singing/playing a piece she has composed.
You are really coming along! Amazing. Just saw Leo Sunday night! After the show I thanked him personally for being an inspiration to aspiring guitarists everywhere. I don't know if Leo looks at Youtube but I'm sure if he saw what several of you "kids" are doing he would be mighty impressed. Funny, Leo messed up a couple of times on one song and turned blood red so I wouldn't worry about the "evil glances". Keep smiling!
i think i love u lol

I like the thumps in the main theme. Get the guys at Petros to build you a 12-string!!!! Or pick up an LKSM-12...!

You play this very well - Leo would be proud. I've had the privelege of playing 1 or 2 Petros guitars - they sound great and are easy to play.

This is OK, but I miss the flow and the easiness. Listen to Benjamin Kammin. That is the best presentation of OJO that has ever been published.

I have played with Ben many times. I agree. He's awesome.

You make that Petros sound really good! Is that your guitar, or is it a loaner?

@busker12 do you think it would be cheaper for me to buy the guitar in the States and then bring it to the UK. In the UK a Petros is $14,000.
