So what would it be if you have to chose between a 27 and 25 inch scale neck? whats the difference? Which one is better? What are some disadvantages of having a 25 or 27?
@XxTaVo205xX There's a literally million reasons between the two. Usually it comes down to string tension, longer scale means more tension, so if you're down tuning or have a floppy B string you'd tighten it up without having to increase string gauge.
@XxTaVo205xX I can't answer that one for you. It's all preference there. I've taken my Jackson down to F (8 string standard tuning) and still had notes ringing through floppy strings.
hey dude, i really like the cow 7 for the sleek looking fretboard on it, although i hate not having a neck pickup and im not a fan of gloss black, or painted guitars in general lol.
i would love to buy one of these, route a neck pickup in it, sand the finish off and depending if the wood was nice i would just oil coat it or stain satin black.
@weemankyle I'm a sucker for the reverse Jackson headstock and it's probably the only reason why I got this guitar. Compared to my Agile this neck feels fast and slick.
I got mine used for pretty cheap and it was originally meant to be a project guitar where I added a angled neck pickup and did a repaint. Though I probably won't get around to that until next summer. But yea my point was that i've seen several COWs where people have added neck pickups or refinished.
@ibruse Not dumb at all. Actually i've only seen a handful other people do this. It's strips of foam put behind the bridge and in front of the nut to stops the strings from vibrating past those points.

@megalomaniacnoodles Whats the lowest tuning you'd be able to go with a 25"?
