My dad took me fly fishing for the first time in Missoula we had a guide and took rafts down the river and fished. It was probably one of the coolest things I've ever done we landed alot of big trout and the mountains and the countryside is so beautiful
That is not Henry's Fork. There are no cutthroat in Henry's Fork and it is a much, much wider river, maybe ten times as wide as this small stream. However it looks like a great place to fish with some nice runs and very little angling pressure. I'd love to know where it is myself. I've gone to MT over thirty-five times in the last forty-two years.
@flyman451 Thanks Dude, I've fished the Henry's Fork a number of times... and you're right...this is NOT it. I will tell you this though...there are many Forks in many Rivers... this one's MY fork...
Hey, great video...but i have a question. at 2:39 when you were fishing that strong rapid part of the stream what kind of fly were you using, and whatever fly you were using probably a nymph how could you indicate if something took it under or not with such strong rapids? please comment back.
That was a great video. Did you guys all grow the mustaches for the trip - they look a bit thin and fraught with novelty. That egg scene is nasty, dude. Don't get caught doing that in Montana - you'll end up in a roadside ditch face down.
I'm sitting in Alaska ... watching videos of Montana. Gee, It must still be dead of winter :- )

@flyman451 did you ever consider it may be the Clark fork in Mt east of Missoula?
