  • I remember eating Disney's Mulan chocolate bars that came with tatoos.

  • i love how they played the score of "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast in the background of the promo.

  • Those candy bars look huge. I don't remember then being that big. I do remember eating around the characters and saving them for last, then biting their heads off like I was a piranha. That was fun. And I have to laugh at the use of Beauty and the Beast music for the movie trailer at the end.

  • LOL, 0:30 is my favorite part in the whole movie.

  • @lisachineserooster i mean grandmother WILLOW!!

  • i also ate around until I couldn't anymore.

  • I miss those chocolate bars.

  • Thing is kids today would just cram it down their gaw instead of look at the pictures.

  • They sold them at Blockbuster

  • Yeah I remember they would sell these at the movie theatres

  • I heard a rumor POCAHONTAS will might be a Broadway Musical!!!!

  • i miss those.they also had the lion king bars!!!man my childhood in 59 secs

  • I love how they have Beauty and the Beast music playing in the background of Pocahontas. Real nice, Disney.

  • @MatchThemInRenown Really? I've always thought that was pretty weird, actually. No offence.

  • I loved those special chocolates for Disney by Nestle. Anybody remember the ice cream cups with the candy pieces? I also think I tried to eat every single nestle candy associated with Hunchback of Notre Dame in 1997

  • if you listen closely in the background at 0:30 and beyond from that point their playing "Belle" instrumental from Beauty and the Beast

  • sigh. The chocolate was so good! Man I miss the 90s.

  • my mom made me a cake for mybirthday when i was little and uded the chocolate bars to make a jewlery box on top it was awsome!

  • i loved these!

  • It was like christmas opening up one of these bars just to see pocahontas decked out in choc. I wish they still did this with movies.

  • OMG!! this brings back alot of memories, I remeber geting all that chocolate so I couls get a different pic on it, lol!!!

  • ahh fail, you can't really call american chocolate chocolate, unless its mars CO (which was evidentally founded in britain)

  • Lol I don't remember this but I think it is funny that they play Bell's reprise from the Beauty and the Beast as the BG music :P

  • @AnimeBlessings Wow, you're right!

  • @lyris1 ^_^ I guess they didn't make the music till after this commercial

  • WHY

    DO

    I

    REMEMBER

    THIS?!

  • I'm glad the 00s sucked, so ppl could appreciate the 90s more.. The 90s was the redheaded stepchild of the last century cuz:

It lacked the drama of the depression of the 30s

the world war of the 40s

the all-out nostalgia and innocence of the 50s

the legend (what better word lol) and craziness of the 60s

the party days of the 70s

the gaudy, decadent tackiness of the 80s

But now the 90s will be known as the cool, edgy, last breath of innocence the terrible and negative 00s.... blah!!

  • omg thanks for posting this it reminds of when i was a kid.i used to love them...man i miss the 90's

  • I would always eat character last. The pictures on that candy were always so beautiful. I really miss those candy bars. Did anyone notice that the music at the end of the movie commercial sounded an awful lot like a song from Beauty and the Beast?

  • this brings back soo many childhood memories

  • Was the sound effect at 0:42 heard in Tom & Jerry: A Nutcracker Tale, The Sword in the Stone, The Jungle Book, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, Alice in Wonderland, Balto, and an episode of The Mr. Men Show called Lunch?

  • Is the music heard in the second half of the Pocahontas commercial from 1991?

  • Holy crap think how much those chocolate bars are worth today, and whats with the beauty and the beast music, and also why is the movie preview so little-kidish, pocahontas is like the most serious of all the disney movies!!!

  • Why did they use the intrumentals of the song Belle from Beauty and the Beast? Intersting.

  • i had a few of those lol i love how detailed they were

  • I loved the 90s

  • I totally remember those candy bars... interesting that they used the music from Beauty and the Beast, though, and that they made the preview really lighthearted, considering that Pocahontas is the most mature film in the Walt Disney canon.

  • That was racist?

  • lol i remember eating those, they were pretty good

  • I remember those!

  • Those disney nestle chocolates were the best ever!

  • i remember eating those lol

  • I find it interesting they used the background music of Belle from Beauty and the Beast for the second half of the commercial.

  • yeah, that's a little weird

  • Ah the nostalgia of this...I too loved these chocolates, and never wanted to eat the character, just around.

  • i remember this bar!

  • why is there beauty and the beast music at the end of it? o_O

  • yeah, i ate that shit...

  • nice

  • mmm... chocolate...

  • this is back when Disney made a big deal about the release of their new films. :) Anyone remember the cards you could get at i think it was burger king?

  • Oh mygoodness, I completely forgot these even existed!! I used to love these!!

  • these were delicious

  • I wonder what those candy bars tasted like.

  • They were pretty good by my 8-year old standards. I liked eating around the scenes to make little chocolate cut-outs. I think Disney should do it again.

  • Me too my moms never got em 4 me

  • Well I was 2 years old at the time so I must've never heard of them.

  • Damn u werr jus a baby so urr like wut 15 rite now?

  • Does anyone notice that the music on the second commercial is "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast?

And I SO remember those chocolate bars! They were good ... *craves* xD

  • I love this! I remember my overly obsessive father buying me them all the time! I never liked eating them though! They were much to pretty! hahaha

  • I loved those bars they were will big and only cost about $.50. Now a candy bar that is 3/4 the size is a buck. Man I miss the old days, great now I am sounding like my grandparents.

  • I remember eating those bars... they were good.

  • God I remember them. I bought a whole case of these bars when it came out.

  • those were my favorite!

  • Omigosh! I actually remember those!!! I remember the scenes on the bars and everything! Aaaah, the memories. And yeah, why in the second half is it playing music from "Beauty and the Beast?"

  • I remember that chocolate bar commercial. "Nestle Makes The Very Best!" LOL

  • oh the best days of my life :]

    such fond memories.

  • OMG! I was just thinking about those chocolate bars yesterday. I kid you not. I remember being very excited about this movie and bought the trading cards and chocolate before the movie opened. Thanks for the memories!

  • 0:30-0:58 is the music to Belle's song from "Beauty and The Beast"

  • I remember those chocolates too.

I wonder why they did promote Pocahontas like it was a comedy and with the music from Beauty and the Beast

  • Oh my gosh! I remember those! I used to eat them all the time. =) Thanks for posting this!
