it sounds like he mentions Bruce Lee, alot of talk about peng and jie and looks like some hsingi at the end, Superb kung fu. You don't see this kind of stuff everyday.
@Stryker0218 And you will never see it again.... He is the end of an era. "Bu sher li" means without power - nothing to do with Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee cannot be compared with Wang Peisheng.
Master Wang has accpeted (and defeated) coutless documented challenges throughout his martial career -- both puiblic and private. These where from all types of fighters -- taiji people, other CMA, as well as Japanese fighters, Mongolians, you name it. I would challenge you to find a chalenge where he was bested.
Does anyone have any video of these fights??? I hear all the stories about chinese masters but have seen very little with regards to actual fights or challenges. I saw a challenge with Chen Jiao Wang and another "master" and it was a pushing match. I have seen real fights with MMA, Judo, Thai KB, western boxing, and San shou but still none with masters of Bagua, Hsing Yi, Taiji, North mantis, Southern mantis, Baji, Shaolin...etc.
Wang Peisheng was probably the last of his kind. I won't argue this point because there are essentially two kinds of people regarding Master Wang - those who know (because they knew him directly or they know his disciples), and those who do not. Among those who know, none will insult Wang Peisheng because his skills were widely known and proven (as stated below) in countless, widely witnessed clashes with people intended to really hurt him.
He was not bested because he was both a genius and extraordinarily well trained. One of his teachers, Ma Gui, was a teacher for the Imperial Guard of the last Emperor. Sadly, though individuals such as Chen Jiao (Xiao) Wang claim to know taiji, what they actually know is the form only. They have almost no real fighting skill at all. Any boxer could probably pound their heads with impunity -- not so Wang Peisheng (which I can say -- with impunity and deep certainty).
(continued)... Even when you examine the many of the mythological tales associated with other masters, you find that at least several times they are traceable to fights that Master Wang actually was involved in, but for which others took credit.
Thus, sadly, if you want to learn real taiji, you'll need to study with one of Master Wang's disciples -- but I'll tell you this -- while you may find some of those disciples with fierce and effective fighting skills, there is none among them who would dare compare their skills to that of Wang Peisheng.
Well said master Wang was a peerless fighter, my shifu says he is the type of kung fu practition that occurs maybe once in a hundred years, the only thing I wonder if were he not to have spent some twenty years of his life incarcerated, what he would have accomplished...
Yes and no... Person on Person fighting, practice is essential for making your level raise, now while at Wang Pei Sheng's level the veracity of this might be debated, I don't his captors would have scarcely accorded him leeway enough form let alone anything else....
Thanks for posting this - a true gem. For the doubters, open your minds, watch, think and possibly even try to learn a little Chinese (or get a translator).

He is from Wang Maozhai lineage. Wang Maozhai and Wu Jianquan were gongfu brothers under Wu's father Wu Quanyou.

I'd like to see him do that against someone who is not his student and trained in taiji as well.
