It is an easier call to make when you have a pro like zigmund..

The bet on the river was only rational if the opponent had an Ace of hearts... So, did he have an Ace of hearts all the way since the beginning? What was he betting from the beginning? A three flush card draw?

Good call by Zigmund... requires analysis for sure... a mediocre heart wouldn't have bet there... Ace of hearts or a bluff...

I was more impressed/surprised by the turn call tbh. You also dont know the history of these 2 players, which is crucial, but generally in HU flushes are super rare, and the fact that he bet the turn representing the flush, unlikely to be Ah9x without raise on the flop, so made it a strange bet on the river , either it was an ace flush on the turn or the river was likely a bluff, and seeing as the first is unlikely, seems like a good call.

If it was live then this call would probably be good but nothing more because it was unlikely he has a heart but on fulltilt it would be predictable.. infact i am surprised he didn't have a heart because someone usually does even heads up..

@mikeaprice09 its not about the chance of him having a heart, its about how he bets if he does or doesnt, if he has a mid-range heart then the river bet makes no sense, because you beat everything that folds to you and you lose to everything that calls you(you wouldnt expect any non-heart to call generally). Most of this is pretty irrelevent though as player history counts for so much in HU in particular.

He made a calculated decision based on Brians play, you see blind drunks throwing pennies at each other

1. donk bets out of turn on the flop after a 3x call pre, and only gets called. Thats a very weak play by Brian, also easy to see he doesnt have 2 hearts

2. Brian will bet after Zig donk bet, checks most of the time on the turn

3. A9, K9 are the only hands Brian logicaly has on the flop that include a heart worth value betting big on the river, 2 hands or a bluff
