The sport shirts advice was asinine. That's just common sense if you're going to wear a sports jersey. I think most guys would know that.

Love, Adornment & Desire are very powerful "psychological" things that most warm blooded creatures aspire to have.
Don't feel bad, when one's appearance, attitude, dress doesn't fit well with folks who're more Sports minded. Just do what you love.... such as illustration art.
Eventually you will meet a bear, on your terms.

Appreicate what you guys are trying to do, but come on, first guys get rejected because they are gay, then they get rejected because they don't fit the body image archtype and now they get rejected because of their age? All I am saying is, don't auto reject based on preconcived ideas. ESPECIALLY since you bemoan the lack of socail groups. But don't dismiss a possible friend because they have a few miles on them.
