One of the most clever interpretations of "666" is the fact that the Roman numerals (DLCXVI) add up to 666. D (500) L (100) C (50) X (10) V (5) i (1). There may be some truth to this since these numbers represent the Roman system of government which is still with us in the form of the New World Order or "Babylon" as the Bible sometimes refers to it.

I can imagine a scenario where the United Nations could seize control of all nations and outlaw Christianity in favor of Islam!

The so-called Mayan prophecies and other pagan cultures are linked to ancient astrology but it appears the media and world leaders are using this event for some reason.

Hysteria about the end of the world or a world war could be used by governments to establish military rule. Biblical prophecy is always fulfilled (I can document this) and it is absolutely certain there will be a major war in the Middle East as mentioned in the video.

There appears to be a conspiracy to mark 2012 as a year of great events.

The so-called Mayan prophecies and other pagan cultures are being seized upon by the media and world leaders for some kind of momental event - perhaps a new world order lead by the United Nations or Europe. For the USA, this will probably involve President Obama if he defeats the Republican candidate for president in 2012.

Israel will face Magog (Russia) and Gog (Iran) in a major battle soon. Revelation also mentions the "armies of the east" (China) and the destruction of Damascus, Syria "in an instant" (nuclear war). This period of great tribulation will also be marked by a world leader who will proclaim himself to be God (Jesus Christ).

December 21, 2012 is the first winter solstice of the (Greek) Age of Aquarius.

Their calendar was based on the familiar 12 constellations of the Zodiac (do not confuse this with the horoscope). The Antichrist appears at the time of the 6th sign, 6th seal and 6th trump (6-6-6) and Jesus will return at the 7th trump from heaven (7-7-7).

This heralds the end of the "church" age and the beginning of the millenium when Christ will rule the world together with the elect (saints).

Astrologers in Ancient Greece noted the stars "fall back" 1 degree in 72 years and divided time into 12 ages (360 X 72 X 12 = 25,920 years).

Today we know this is caused by the wobble of the earth's axis (axial rotation).

The Greeks were not the first to notice precession - India and Egypt had known about this phenomena long before them but today we also know Precession causes climate change!

The Mayans merely observed the same phenomena.

Yes, nobody knows when would the end be, never worry WHEN? - the more important thing is that you know that it will soon come and if you are just reading the Bible and heeding God's Word, God will reveal the you the signs, and just watch and pray that you stray not from the right path, or else you might fall into the AC's trap and get yourself marked with 666 for it is now being deceptively pushed by the NWO through the ID Card systems in most government agencies in the whole wide world

you know, I hate when people try to forecast the date as to when things will happen in the bible. I am glad for Irvin Baxter and guys like him who don't try to figure out dates. They just tell us what the bible says. That's what we can count on.
