  • I think this song is about drinking alcohol. Song goes like this on a part, "...A hole is put to man, there in a snake is let in....(snake beeing alcohol or other drug) If my father my head stroked, the snake broke my lips... (propably a abusing father) ...from the bottle a snake, a drink lenght, a snakes length... It you look inside you see a black reptile. And i think that should be the chorus. and note that I an quite drunk doing this translation atm. dont take my words at truth. end of key
  • @RealHippo

Yeah, the song is about alcoholism. I'll do the translation, so non-Finns can understand it aswell.

  • @lewyglosnik So fucking hilarious.

  • song title translates into The Den of Snake

  • jugosa carmen, esa carmen viene en pasta... min 2:07

  • The song is about alcholism.

  • European languages , mostly german, russian, Finnland are likely to sound better in a heavy metal band, and considering they all suffer winter in a hard way they tend to acumulate energy thats why they are not thin.. and it may sound stupid but they let all the energy get out when they play music and they make it sound heavy, with this i don´t mean they lose weight when they play but they do lose energy, or at least thats what I think.

  • @machaign What the fuuuuck...??? what does their weight have to do with anything? I bet you havent ever met a finnish person. Perkele.

  • @CrossedScythes He mean people with extra kilograms got harder voice. Like me, but I`m still not fat :P

  • @CrossedScythes Lol Crossed learn to read english.

  • @Imphipis (its not really my fault to have ADD wich makes learning rather difficult.) and what is it that you think i havent understood the way i should have?

  • @CrossedScythes ignore them lol i dont think they meant insult but if they seriously believe that then they are basing that assumption on stereotypes. ignorant people.

  • Finnish isn't a European language though.

  • @BloodskullMannoroth why? is very similar to the vasko language in north of spain.

  • It might be similar in sound, but the language family it comes from isn't Indo-European.

  • @BloodskullMannoroth It's a Germanic language, right? (or maybe I'm being an idiot and thinking of Swedish. XD)

  • Lol, nah it's not Germanic. Wikipedia has the information on it.

  • @hypercoffee117 Finnish is one of those language with no known relations. It doesn't have near the borrowed words of other languages. :)

  • @BloodskullMannoroth Exactly. Finnish / Estonian / Hungarian are not Indo-European languages.

  • @BloodskullMannoroth "Finnish isn't a European language though" By scientists it's thought to be one of the oldest European languages, but apparently You know better. Please enlighten us and tell where it's from if not Europe.

  • @dumbyeah The language family it belongs to, Uralic, is from Siberia. I guess you could call Finnish geographically European, but I was attempting to correct what I thought was someone mistaking Finnish as being in the European section of the Indo-European family.

  • @dumbyeah I think he means not indo-european language. But yeah finnish might be oldest language in europe. There are even some theories that before indo-european languages,finno-ugric languages dominated in Europe.

  • @machaign

    Germany has hard winters??? xD

  • @machaign

    Coherence is helpful for comprehension.

Next time think it out more before posting so you can make sense.

  • @machaign HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! thats the stupidest thing i've ever heard!

  • @machaign HAHAHAHAHAHA! that's the stupidest thing that I've ever heard! And I know it because I AM finnish! Yeah, and we also fight whit polar bears...-.- Perkele...

  • @machaign

That is a really neat theory...

  • @machaign Im finnish and im the thinnest person i know XD

  • @machaign Actually this kind of makes scense

  • helveti hyvä biisi ja parempi ku tietää tän biisi iidean/juonen

  • ruoska are the scandinavian rammstein.

  • @Deathriken So thats true but so what? Its good

  • @Deathriken finland is not part of the scandinavian... sorry :p

  • @TheMrNapalm oh ok, but lets be honest, it might as well be. its inbetween sweeden and russia which are both parts of scandinavia so it might as well be. i know it isnt but come on lol

  • not part of scandinavia? screw you, finland is THE HQ of scandinavia! russia is mostly asia, and sweden simply sucks.

  • @Deathriken Finland is not in the Scandinavia. Only Sweden Nowray denmark and Iceland is.

  • @RealHippo Iceland is not in Scandinavia.

  • @Torgeytits Scandinavia contains Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland...

  • @EmperorDarkling

When talking about the Nordic countries as one, yes, but geographically Iceland and Finland aren't in Scandinavia.

  • @Torgeytits Suomi ei ole Skandinavian? LOL?

  • @mikkalainer11

Skandinavian niemimaa = Ruotsi, Norja ja Tanska.

  • @Torgeytits Olen eri mieltä, mutta voit saada lausunto.

  • @RealHippo In fact, if you count Denmark to Scandinavia you must also include Finland. The Scandinavian peninsula however only consists of Sweden and Norway.

  • bandodon me fasina""

  • litle bit like spielt mit mir -Rammstein...

  • @ruda82d If you mean how it sounds, it's really nothing like it.

  • XD this song is about a father sexually abusing his daughter

  • @goldenchocolate wrong...

  • Ruoska is best

  • great song very heavy

  • i think its funny how ppl go "oh its a rammstein ripoff" when in fact, its just german techno metal in general.....i have cd's from at least 6 german bands that have this sound, some even older than rammstein

  • finnish industrial metal like ruoska owns stuff like rammstein :P

  • the majority of rammstein songs yeh, but some of them are just epic masterpieces and are great in their own respects, its not about which band owns who, its about the similar styles in music and the fucking idiots that cannot tell the dif between a ripoff and an inspiration

  • extremely well said, ninjabastard...i repeatt: extremely well said

I only wish there would be more people like you and less people like superdupermegaboy
