  • I remember the first SI covers. I do hope this fellow does not suffer from any ill health problems from his addiction... Regards SRA

  • Tyson would of smashed him

  • Its funny how history repeats itself. The Packers have benefitted more with the Clay Matthews pick, but thats probably only because there is more knowledge out there nowadays on how to get away with it longer.

  • Now it's Clay Matthew's turn.

  • @TheVertigoKid Funny how matthews isnt on roids

  • Honestly I'm surprised at how smart and articulate Mandarich is. You don't usually get this level of intellect from a former offensive lineman. And kudos to him for getting his life together.

  • He is still one big dude.

  • He is a tough guy. He went through a lot and made it through life and NFL with that comeback of his. I don't care if you name him a bust. For me he was a young guy that had his head in his ass and manage to pull it out. Not many people can do this or maybe can't do it.

  • Way to own the responsibility and way to recover Tony.

  • not the tool he used to be which is good.

  • I do admire him for admitting this. But the Packers passing up on Barry Sanders hurts. It just hurts.

  • I still think he is the best Offensive lineman ever...

  • alot of teams passed on barry sanders

  • Strange how sports works. Right after this, Brett Farve falls right into their laps.

  • Wow...impressive interview. He's living the steps, and I never saw a NFLer so humble. Good for him...

  • if you saw the college films of him playing you would definitely pick him. he threw people around and ran like a 4.6 at 315 pounds. its not like he had failed a drug test ever.

  • Based on attitude alone, I don't understand why Green Bay would ever want him. Nor any other team. The same bad egg was in Ryan Leaf. Immature, cocky, completely devoid of a work ethic. Thought he could just jump straight from college ball and easily win Super Bowls.

  • What a great man, he totally changed who he went from a total schmuck to a great person, and he admits it. Good for him, he totally moved on.

  • i feel bad for this guy. hes a good person. he made some mistakes but he cleaned up his act and did a good job with the colts.

  • Ahhh...poor bastard is broke and promoting his book.

Morbid curiosity and controversy combine to generate big bucks.

  • armen katayan looks like hes really enjoying himself when mandarich speaks of how embarrased he is for the green bay years....look up vince mcmahon slaps armen katayan, cuz armen is always trying to play down the athlete who admits wrong doing.

  • i hate drugs and i dislike drug abusers, this dude has changed a lot though an thats admirable

  • i like how clean the guy is now. i hope other people realize that he is truly sorry for what he did, unlike a-rod

  • Respect to Tony for being real (finally)

  • Good God...he was a monster. Seems liek he cleaned himself up. What a prick though.

  • I give this guy alot credit for overcoming his pride and showing the courage and humility to make things right. I've gained a great deal of respect for this man.

  • he didnt just trough his life away thats why i respect him and ricky williams

  • still him over barry green bay was smoking crack

  • Take my hat off to this guy. Thats what i call taking responsibilty for your life and also the mistakes and low points that happen. Reminds of a saying that starts....."out of adversity comes...."

  • I enjoyed part1 of this video.. and really part2 also very interesting..

  • To apologize and move forward takes courage. I am happy to see him admitting, apologizing and taking responsibility for something which he is not proud of.

  • Pretty cool video. Great that you were able to overcome the demons. That in itself is inspirational. Good luck to you for a good life for your self and others.

  • It is difficult not to feel sorry, though not knowing what is most sad.

  • Decent video, good story. I remember all the hype this guy got coming out of college and the stories of his career crumbling. It's nice to see that he's been able to overcome a lot of hardships in his life and is living happily now after so many years of pain.

  • What an amazing display of humility and courage to admit that you have done something which you are not proud of and to apologize and move forward.

    A great lesson here!

  • Amen! I've done a total 180 in my opinion of this man. Forgiving is divine.

  • Interesting video on this great interview NFL.

  • I think I saw the first part couple of days back? But, this NFL presentation is pretty cool, and I am not even a fan of NFL -great stuff! Gave you all stars

  • There is so much pressure on athletes now days that they feel like that they have to do steroids to keep up.

  • Nice Presentation about NFL, am the great fan of Tony Mandarich.. Thanks

  • Great interview; those that haven't seen the first part should definitely check it out.
