One of the most atrocious deeds of this Great Dictator Hafez Aljahsh was committing the most evil crimes against innocent Syrians in Hamah,Sidnaya & Tadmur as well as plundering Syria's economy,oppressing & intimidating Syrians for 31 years.His crimes continued in Lebanon when he plundered Lebanon,instigated religious sects against each other .Hafez assassinated Christian president Bashir Al Gemayel,Druze leader Kamal Jumblat & many Sunni leaders like Journalist Riad Taha.Now he is in Hell.

Why don't you go back to Syria, & start a Facebook page, or a blog, that says anything critical of Assad. Go out into the street w/ a picket sign, protesting anything about the government. Start an opposition political party. Start a weekly meeting group, that discusses disagreements & criticisms of the govt. Oh wait, you couldn't do any of those things. Or you could try, but would be arrested. Because that "true freedom" only exists as long as you don't voice a dissenting opinion.

Point by point, give evidence to counter each claim. The security council is drafting a resolution condemning Syria. That makes what happened in Daraa forgivable? You don't think he wouldn't do the same if those supporters decided to protest?
