I got on twitter as part of my training on the social media platforms. I love it.I have met the most amazing people from all over the world and forged relationships with them. I use it to find info and share info and help people out. I have gone to face to face meetings with people I have met in this space.

I love the way it has helped n the flat lining of the world so that communities can be made stronger.

Let people who are currently subscribed to me get to know me better outside of Youtube.

Vent about whatever I want because nobody can delete what I have to say, unlike youtube with removing comments.

And why not? Its as big as Myspace and Facebook and I don't really like those so I thought I'd give this a try and I loved it! =]

With tens of thousands of people that you auto-follow how the hell are you to read through those? Refresh your browser and you have a fresh page of tweets everytime!

Following 10k's of people just so you could can HAVE tens of thousands of followers is wrong and is poor/lazy marketing.

Following somebody on Twitter and reading what they have done during the day is surely the last step in your online relationship, well before you you choose to go and meet them in person, of course.

I first joined twitter because all of my friends were telling me about it. I love social networking so I just joined right up. It wasn't until I linked twitter with my facebook and got the iphone app that I started using it everyday. Now I can tweet from anywhere with my phone and I love that I can take a picture and tweet that right from my phone as well and it all goes on my twitter and my facebook status.

i first joined twitter when no one was really on it. i figured it might help with my music promotion. then i started studying graphic design and learned that a lot of designers are on twitter. i get some really great links and advice through articles and blogs posted on twitter. good tips btw! :)

I joined because of a lady I heard about that I was getting email from. I think it was the Queen of Cold-Calling. I signed up and I was confused. I then learned that I am meeting people like you guys. I have a great respect for people that give value instead of pushing things down people's throats because they can. I am wondering how many people use after 30 days and how many are actually active on it. I have met people that I can connect to with the same interests, easier to relate that way.
