Have you had a problem with the olive oil being slippery in the shower? I made a brown sugar scrub yesterday with jojoba oil and nearly killed myself using it this morning, lol. Im giving body scrubs out for christmas and I don't want anyone falling in the shower. Any suggestions?
It works even better if you subtract the sugar out of it and use vitamin e oil (which is healthier for the skin and also helps minimize scars) instead of olive oil. Just an idea.
hi. Can we use this as our related literature in our study about the coffee body scrub. May we request your analysis about the coffee body scrub so we can defend it to our panelist.
why wash afterwards? i think it's best actually to use this after you wash instead. but that's just me. i love a scrubbed, oiled up skin. it soaks in the oil verrry well after a wash.
if you leave that on your skin, its supposed to make you tanner. or so ive heard.ive alreayd tried it as an exfoliator and its AMAZING. ive never ever had softer skin in my life. i just really wanna see if it tans or nott
@SGmom2 Both instant coffee and ground coffee works for this recipe. You can even reuse the ground coffee u used to brew your coffee. Hope this helps! =)
@SGmom2 Instant coffee, also called soluble coffee and coffee powder, is a beverage derived from brewed coffee beans. Instant coffee is commercially prepared by either freeze-drying or spray drying, after which it can be rehydrated. At least one brand of instant coffee is also available in concentrated liquid form.
(taken from wikipedia..)
and we all know gound coffee is raw coffee beans roasted then grounded.
It would've been better if you put the olive oil in a the bigger cup, and pour the coffee & sugar into the olive oil so you wouldn't have to lose so much oil or make it to waste. You know? Lol.
@flh618 I use this once to twice a week. But everyone's skin is different so scrub away in moderation, adjust to your preference until you get soft and silky skin. =)
@Yasashiix Thanks for your advice, I still got so much to learn! I really appreciate your feedback, so I can improve in my future videos. Thanks again! =) ♥
@XiaoBei16 I've never tried it on my face, but i just did some research and found some great things about a coffee mask. I personally wouldn't suggest using it as a facial scrub/ exfoliator because I find the coffee grind too rough and too harsh to the facial skin.
Your introduction to the ingredients is so in detail...and u even lay the coffee beans in a love shape...lol...I have to LIKE this video...Take care...
@lodproductions90 I love coffee too haha. I found that many body scrub products incorporate coffee in their products by using caffeine, as caffeine has been found beneficial to exfoliating away dead skin cells and also treating cellulite. Hope that helps =) ♥

Sounds yummy! Why wash the oil off and then apply moisturizer? Just let the oil from the scrub sink in.

@tsxymama PBI: Most people don't need to exfoliate more than once a week. Over-exfoliating can do more harm than good.
