not exactly. She acts weird to be famous. In an interview she said "I mastered the art of fame". Of course she was always different, but the outfits and complete change in musical direction were obviously to become famous, which is good though. @CubanLover988 I'm going to disagree with you but not in a mean demeanor like the others. I disagree because this song is different compared to other songs I've heard from her. I like this kind of music, her other ones don't scream out emotion enough for me, except Bad Romance. This particular song was more of a rock base, whereas her current stuff is more of a pop base. I understand her history, but I don't agree w/ her strategy. I think she's a copy cat of Madonna and Cher.

Her singles and albums receive generally positive reviews from top critics at Rolling Stone, Vogue, OK! etc. Look at the meanings behind her albums and you'll see the power in her music. Look at what she stands for: she doesn't only stand up for gays, or the disabled. She stands up for everyone and sends the message that everyone should celebrate their uniqueness. Have you heard Gaga sing acoustic versions of her songs? She has real indubitable singing talent!

Of course she was always different, but the outfits and complete change in musical direction were obviously to become famous, which is good though. She plays songs more normal live sometimes, like guitars and piano.

But I had never heard of her until she preformed "just dance" on Dancing With the Stars for the first time. This song came out in 2005, so I was only 10 years old when this came out. If I heard it then, I probaby would have liked it,
