  • This movie deserves alot more than the relative recognition that it has received by the general public. Thanks for the upload.

    STAY AWESOME! :)

  • HOW TALL IS KING KONG??

  • @scoob2007 wasn't it three foot five?

  • This is one amazing film! It brilliantly creates the illusion of a movie-within-a-movie. And Peter O'Toole is excellent as this insane director!

  • uno di quelli che ho amato di più grazie

  • One of my favorite movies. Came out the same time as Breaking Away. The ice cream scene from this movie is one of the nuttiest scenes ever. I wish I could find it.

  • hey watsup nice video, could you check out my channel maybe rate my vids 5 stars?thanx id appreciate it. have a niceday. keep making vids :)

  • Several memorable scenes in this movie. The Ice cream scene was great, so was the dailies screening. The music is was amazing as well.

  • Sounds like a good plot. Railsback was sooo superb as Manson in Helter Skelter, where the heck is he now??

  • I am trying to find movie Stuntman..the plot is..stuntman gets killed what looks like accident, his brother comes to investigate, finds out he was murdered...hell, ive seen this sometimes in late 70ties. Help me out.. : )

  • a great movie!

Barbara Hershey is great in this.

  • It's a movie of 1979, with the music of Dominic Frontiere. Really love it - actors and all of it

  • It was filming about 1977-78. I was the security officer guarding the filming location sets. When some of production sets was being fimed at Hotel Del Coronado, on the beach behind the Hotel Del Coronado and at the Coronado Cab Co.building in the City of Coronado, CA (San Diego).

  • good trailer!

  • First film that I got to see jiggling boobs. Ahhh childhood memories.

  • never heard anything about this one! how good is it? the cast is great! but can anyone tell me anything about this movie?

  • this is a great film; probably makes a lot of gen Xer critics' top 25 list.... it's unique and entertaining.

  • i'll keep my eyes peeled, maybe i'll catch it! thanks!

  • @poedude99 i finally have seen it two weeks ago, it's one of the best films i ever saw!:)

  • It's GREAT! Railsback plays a man on the run from cops.Otoole is the dircetor who gives him a place to hide,as a disguised stunt man.

  • i will watch it as soon as i can find it! thanks!

  • I can tell you. It's one of the greatest movies ever made. Hardly released in 1980, it's attained cult status and is a favorite of almost everyone who knows it. It's also one of the most uncategorizable films ever: comedy/drama/art film/action flick. The plot: a paranoid Vietnam vet running from the cops gets hired on a movie set as a stunt man, and consistently forgets that the stunts he's doing are "make-believe." Trust me: you have to see this movie. Peter O'Toole's finest performance.

  • that was a bunch of good info! i will watch it as soon as possible! thanks!:)

  • You're welcome. Go for it, and enjoy!

  • indeed, a great flick

  • One of my favorite films of the '80's. Had Robert De Niro not played Jake LaMotta in the same year, O' Toole would have finally had his Oscar.

  • Good movie. First saw this in a college film class and found it very fun and unique.

  • That music The Chase was used as the theme song for The Million Dollar Movie on KTRK in Houston and WPVI in Philly during the 80's and 90's.

  • That music is on the soundtrack as "The Chase." Same tune as "Bits and Pieces" but faster. I have the soundtrack on vinyl, and it's one of my favorites. The composer Dominic Fontiere is brilliant, and so is this movie!

  • does anyone know the name of the music playing in the trailer? not " bits and pieces " but the soundtrack featured in this film if anyone knows it please reply with it's name

    thank you

  • Really good movie and great soundtrack. I miss it.

  • Can anyone send me the song "The Chase"?

  • I posted a scan of my VHS on my blog, along with this trailer. thanks.

There's a great interview with Richard Rush in the latest issue of Shock Cinema Magazine (#36)

  • One of the best films I've ever seen. A masterpiece that never got as much recognition as it deserved.

  • @jdb47games

I was about to type the same exact comment. Very underrated movie and Peter O'Toole playing God throughout the movie is chilling.

  • Great film.............can anyone post the song "bits and pieces" by dusty springfield?

    thanks

  • Funny that you would ask that. I googled in order to find that song. So if you do - let me know. As for the film - It's one of the best movies ever made. I love the music, the story, the editing, everything about it. I'll let you know if I find it.

  • the only place i found the song was in itunes store.........in case you find that useful

  • Spectacular film with an equally spectacular score. One of the best films of the 80's, hands down.

  • One of the best films ever made! Superb music too!

  • UAU!!!!!!

  • Peter O'Toole's better acting jobs. Also notice how O'toole's character always had a shining light on him!

  • this music fucking rules

  • I remember seeing this movie as a kid, and the music was something I always remembered about this movie.

  • The Soundtrack is now available on CD -limited to 3000 copies- I ordered mine last week... and it has the Dusty Springfield song.

  • 10!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great movie! Must watch it again. Thanks!

  • this movie looks funny and crazy

  • this movie is awesome. I love the music too.

There's a song... bits and pieces of my heart... I have it on vinyl... really sweet...
