@liveingthoughtsfade: well it's not realy about "who created it". It's more the carreer bands gone through. Metallica disapointed me three times: Load, ReLoad and St. Anger. Testament only did it with Demonic. Plus: today Testament can still play metal like metal should be ... Metallica is just weaker now (logic after YEARS of touring). ;) however, Metallica still kicks ass.

@liveingthoughtsfade Yeah and when he left Exodus sounded/sounds completely different, the riffs your talking about ARE KIRKS. They were written in '82 for the Exodus demo, just RELEASED later in 2004 or so. Exodus sounds NOTHING like Metallica. I'm glad Kirk got his ultimate break cause he's a stand up nice guy, but I'm also GLAD he's IN Metallica. I'm a Exodus fan, they're fine with Holt and Altus and previously Hunolt. Kirk down with Metallica for life please.

What an odd comment, it's as if it's better to stop listening to Metallica, or as if listening to Metallica keeps you from listening to other bands/exploring other bands.

I find it odd to see so much anti-Metallica or at least comments negative towards Metallica on this album on YT. You know, Chuck Billy is a big Metallica fan, and it's not as if he's musically retarded. So funny to see fans of bands bashing Metallica while band members are actually fan of them.
