2. When the Internet Browser was first released years ago, it was a trail version (beta).

The Opera site is now (Mar. 2010) free? When you download the internet channel, the Opera Browser is also downloaded? So there's nothing else to be downloaded?

It's not that easy. When you download something to your Wii, the DRM will only let you play downloaded items on the Wii it was downloaded on.

Keep in mind that the Trial Version was removed from the Wii Shop Channel catalog on April 11, 2007. A full version was added that same day at the cost of 0 Wii Points until June 31, 2007. As of July 1, 2007, you have to pay 500 Wii Points to download the full version today. I had to pay Wii Points since I downloaded the full version on January 11, 2008.

Don't do heavily download on your PC while downloading on your Wii. You can also try to change the routers wireless channel.
