@iwkya1 Well you could say that, but then you'd be ignoring all the modeling, texturing, lighting, animating all the servos and machines parts to the robot, it's only about 60% mocap so other parts where key framed animated, not to mention the animating the camera, working on all the settings for render to ensure I got the best from my motion blur, oh and of course the edit and grade, the laying of a soundtrack and finally the posting it on here just so dicks like you can leave idiotic comments

I find it difficult to understand how you can class this as copyright from wall-e as it was released in 2008, then when you watch the video it's copyrighted in 2005. I dont understand.

how do you do motion capture? Do you have to have expensive equipment?

Motion capture equipment is really expensive. Best bet is to rent out a motion caption studio for the day rather than buy your own... That's what i do. Another option is to buy or download pre-made motion capture files suited for the animation you want to do, there's plenty out there. Liking your animations by the way :o)
