I HAVE A ROLAND JUNO DI AND AKAI PROFESSIONAL XR 20. IM USING PROTOOLS LE 8 WITH AVID M BOX MINI. MY M BOX DOES NOT HAVE MIDI INPUTS SO I HAVE MIDI TO USB STRAIGHT TO MY MAC. THE PROBLEM IS, HOW CAN I USE THE INSTRUMENTS INSIDE MY PIANO AND AKAI. AND WHAT TRACKS DO I USE TO RECORD THEM?
help me please ,, im using motif xs 6 and i want to sync with pro tools 8. im doing evrything but pro tools wont trigger motif help me please !!!!!!!!
Go to your Control Panel (in your computer), then to Sounds/audio devices,then to the Audio tab, where you can setup playback ,record, & midi items-choose your M-box in the dropdown menus.

@Beamish604 I have a mac, and my screen is different too. midi still works fine though. just plugged er in and started playing.

when i go to my midi studio section, my mbox doesnt show up, so i cant link my midi keyboard to it, what should i do??
