What kind of strings do they use on their acoustics?

@GuitarM0nkey I don't think it's a specific brand judging by the fact that at the end of the show they tell everyone they rented them. So I'm guessing they didn't change the strings from when they got them...unless of course they broke them. But...If you're looking for shopping tips for strings I recognize Martin Marquis Light Gauge strings. I use them to death and they can take quite a variety of playing styles. They sound amazing too

@mikeyowns Actually, he's right. For almost a year after this song was released, the was confusion about the song's meaning. Later, Alex said in an interview that Coffee Shop Soundtrack was actually about an affair he had with a married woman and that they would regularly meet in a coffee shop. Look it up on Wikipedia. Or you can Google it if you want. :)
