Hey, not sure how old this video is (must be pretty new), but your commentary is pretty cool. You sound tired while talking, but personally seem pretty grounded, which is nice. I agree with the lack of F4 being pretty odd (I would like Sue Storm personally), but I don't like the Red Skull as I think he'd play similar to Chris (whom I don't really like, but...). I was rooting for Viper so I can't say I'm very disappointed.

Yeah, Doom's had some really nice variations of his basic armor, the 2099 one is pretty epic indeed, i'd even be happy with some of the more medieval ones to. Since capcom seems to like dlc content so much, i'm sure we'll get some of them eventually.

One thing though: when you start doing those 5A -> 6A mix up, don't repeat that pattern very often. Do 5A->6A only once. Since you usually x2 (other times u mix up with 3C) i usually just go for the reversal with jin. What i mean is that you will probably bait a DP if you change the repeat patter of that pressure :p

@danteMdie Hey =) Yeah you're right about the 5A > 6A thing, i often do get dp'd out of it. I've been trying to mix some 2B in there to when i'm still at close range, since you can combo on counter hit, and if it's not a counter hit they'll block the next hit low and get hit by overheads. Even 5B is nice cause the hitbox can catch people trying to jump out of it during the jump's startup sometimes. But yeah it's hakumen, you can pretty much dp in between every single one of his close up moves =)

@MrMiddleKick well, i dropped hakumen because i wasn't very good with his pressure, but i think it's worth insisting in 2A>2A (i think it's a blockstring) and try baiting some DP, and you'll vary the pressure

Not 100% but Capcom was actually planning to put the Fantastic 4 in but I believe activision or another company that licensed them disputed it, and instead Capcom was forced to take them out. Super Skrull's inclusion in the game was their replacement

I wish they would have included Gouken since he seems like a good fit for a MvC game.

Also im disappointed they didn't include Strider in the game as you pointed out CLock v Neo MM which had entertaining high level Strider play on display.

Yeah from the newer sf characters, gouken would have definitely been a better choice than viper.

I didn't even realize Isaac could have been a possibility, necromorph summoning supers would have been pretty epic.

About Strider, it's just weird they wouldn't include such a fan favourite. The gameplay's a lot slower than mvc2 though so i don't know how well his pressure would have worked in this one.

I would like them to bring back Morrigan's hidden super from MVC1 that was fantastic. Just speed it up a bit or something. Also if they wanted to add some more darkstalkers(Vampire) characters i think its finally time for Donovan to make an appearance...

@SomedaysDreamersBC Oh yeah right Red Skull. I have to say i'm really no marvel expert. Even though i do like their characters, marvel's never been the publisher that's drawn me the most, so there are a few of them in this cast i'd never even heard of.

Yeah Donovan would be a nice add, Jedah would have been interesting to. About onimusha, to me it seems that they really picked all the game series that were not in TvC for this one, and TvC already had that onimusha char, can't remember his name.

I don't know if I'll play MVC3 i was not great at MVC2 back in the day it was way way way too fast for me... Who knows.. There are a few I wish were in the game Hinata bringing her back would've been nice. Samanosuke or Jyubei from Onimusha would've been nice or even Nobunaga. Something fresh. The marvel side is ok I think I mean I doubt many of the players of these games know much about the marvel comic characters anyway.
