had the government not been subsidizing fossil fuels all these years and allowed alternatives to compete in the free market, I guarantee you fuel prices would not be just 83% higher now, but could have actually DECREASED by as much as 65%.
Americans take note as your fuel is also government subsidized. Invest your soon to be worth-less money wisely. Water, energy, and food are the currency of the future.
Sick of asshole cops and the corporate bastards they are really protecting? Follow my website "SAY NO TO COPS" and together let's raise a collective middle finger to these fascists. The link is in my profile. FUCK THE POLICE!
If only fiscal conservatives raged against corporate welfare the same way.
Prescription laws and prohibitions aren't working either, but as long as we are writing trillion dollar checks to banks and have a nanny state that forces you to go get a $300 permission note to buy $10 pain killers or antibiotics I have no problem subsidizing health care.
When you want a real free market let me know and I'll happily join you.
@Keister12 Don't be so fucking stupid those police where out to stop people from getting hurt and ran for their own safety if you want Anarchy in that fashion go ahead but nothing ever becomes stable in a good way if it takes a hard man to fill the gap amongst the people.
That Obama he's such an idiot for saying people should start at looking at clean fuel. How dare he use stimulus money to build high speed rail lines and not to subsidize oil further that's why the government should stay out the way. This socialist is not subsidizing gas enough. America has enough. Just drill deeper, drill now. We need to go back to 1913.
It hurts to pretend the stupid actually hurts it's just self centered and self important to play a libertarian teabagging nut.
this could never happen in America. yeah, just wait til they take your pensions and social security and hyperinflation makes it impossible to buy food. it's happening in europe everywhere and their about 2 years behind us.now its creeping into north america. nah, it can't happen here.
Every time the gas prices rise, I throw the remaining few drops of gas onto the pump and picture myself torching it. Sometimes I have my lighter in my hand as I talk myself out of it. Seriously not joking.
@matchu4444 Or I could set up a "prank" video in which I throw gasoline on the closest person to me and walk towards them trying to light my lighter and post that.
yeah well this could happen anywhere oil is not a bottomless pit folks, sigh i think that's what obama was saying about having to drill deeper to get the stuff, etc the other day..?
@XulChris ... and if our government wasn't subsidizing oil, you too would be complaining that they weren't doing enough to keep prices low. True cost of a gallon of gasoline is north of $8. That would be the price if you got your wish and government did nothing. And of course the price of everything else would spike along with it.
@hergs Don't tell him facts he's allergic. He thinks drill baby drill will save him and he keeps mocking clean energy. He thinks it's his right to have a big car but doesn't see he was left with no choice in the matter.
@hergs Absolutely! Governments only lower the standard of living for everyone. Why should someone who cannot afford a car pay for my gas through food inflation? DUH! What are you some kind of idiot?!
@XulChris We're already paying for your car's gas. I take public transportation whenever possible, yet I still pay for your gas through my federal taxes. I'm not complaining, it keeps things stable. (Continued...)
Whats strange is that the states who champion personal responsibility and states rights often receive the most in Federal Spending dollars compared to the Federal Taxes they pay. Mississippi and New Mexico receive $2 for every $1 they pay in taxes. Conservative states are the biggest welfare queens, supported by the productive liberals.

Google "Federal Taxes Paid vs. Federal Spending Received by State"
I don't expect you will believe it, even if you do read it, since you seem to believe the Estate Tax affects working families. Nice video on your channel about it, but it's completely absurd and baseless Republican propaganda to defend dynasties like the Waltons.
That's not republican propaganda, that's based on having my sister and her kids living at my house for 2 years after her husband died because the state wanted 60,000 out of her for a house they had paid off fifteen years prior and had only paid $19,000 and spent 5 years fixing.
If it was directed at the Waltons you could start it off at a billion, and Wal-mart seemed to be far more behind Hillary IMO.
@BadSwineDOTcom In 1988, the Estate Tax exclusion level was $600,000, which is over $1,000,000 in 2009 Dollars.
The only reason assets would be frozen is if there is no obvious heir, and no Will. With spouses, there is an obvious heir, so I suggest again, A) You're lying. Or B) Any taxes/liens on your sister's house had nothing to do with the Estate Tax.
You are doing the bidding of billionaire tax cheats.
I smell someone who makes far to many assumptions who has NEVER had a dependent die or deal with all the state bullshit.
I hope you have a fun time in hell rummaging through everyone's business, telling them what they owe, kicking widows out on the street telling them they have to much.
@XulChris Over time inflation doesn't matter to working people who spend the money they earn. Wages lag, but inevitably rise with inflation. Inflation only matters to the wealthy. Once again, you have been duped into making the fiscal arguments of the banksters on wall street who caused the largest financial disaster since the last time they did in 1929.
And if you're in a red state, then yes, more of my taxes are going to you than your taxes are coming to me. That's just a fact, mooch.
@hergs Assuming you can afford to buy enough food so that you don't starve to death before your next pay raise. The rich can easily avoid inflation, they just move their money into another currency. It's the people on fixed incomes getting paid in US dollars who will be hurt the most.
@XulChris only when you follow insane conservative Republican ideology and freeze wages like Obama has done, and block Cost of Living Adjustments as the Republicans have done for nearly a decade now.
@hergs Obama is freezing extremely high wages. Obama should be cutting wages in half. No, that's still not enough. Obama needs to fire 95% of the executive branch of government.
@hergs "Over time inflation doesn't matter to working people who spend the money they earn."
Disagree:
In Europe wages don't follow inflation, they freeze or get cut (soon to be followed in US) But everything else follows inflation. That's what they call austerity, wages down, taxes and everything else up.
@UniteToday Freezing wages is the worst form of austerity because wages are the source of demand in a market economy. Germany hasn't frozen wages, and in fact they do what they call "Kurzarbeit" or "short-work" which means the government pays workers for the hours they have cut from their work week during economic downturns, because wages=demand. It's pure Keynesian economics, and it's working for them. And yes, wages do go up as the value of a currency goes down, over time.
@hergs Maybe there was a misunderstanding, I've always said that taking money of the working class is the worst thing they can do, no matter if it's freezing their wages or taxing them more. The fact is that working class spend a hell of a lot more money, then the very rich do, hence the shit we're in by bailing out the rich instead of sharing the same amount of money between the people. As for wages going up, look at the $, it's going down day by day, but no pay rizes, maybe over a LONG time
HaHa! You sound like you've got some anger issues against homosexuals. People like that, who hate gays, are usually latent homosexuals. Maybe you need to lighten up. :-)

Whats strange about that? More Federal intervention, the more obvious to the people that it isn't working.
If alleged Liberals were productive and owned anything, they would be smart enough to realize Social services are almost entirely STATE funded.
Federal income taxes support those bastions of liberalism like The CIA, DHS, ATF, DEA, ICE, WAR, DRUG WARS, MEX, Israel etc.
But hey you might get a soup kitchen so federal income tax is just peachy keen.
