The whole reson the visa takes longer is because its handles the internet better but that makes it take longer load up then the other one i think XP because the XP will not woirre about the internet or that it doesnt have to it have to work harder to make the internet load faster

Windows 7 "is vista", microsoft even said so, its just a polished up vista. 7 is not faster or better then XP, think about it, XP works with 384k ram not one gig. 7 eats more resources most of it is built in spyware so they see what you are doing. 1gig ram is the minimum you will need more if you want to run anything. Just because it boots faster doesn't make it better, can it make my games/programs run better and no it can't you suck

you need to create the new partition before you do that. basically new partition. pop the disk in, turn off comp and then boot up again. then run through OS setup and then select the partition you want to install on. it will usually be D:/ as im assumin ure HDD is called C:/

I use Vista the most as I have most of my main programs on it..

Then I use Winodws 7 next just to load up faster (if i need to browse the web quickly) or if I need to make some videos. Than lastly I use XP sometimes to go on some games (I only install them on xp to keep 7 and Vista fast!)

I got windows 7 from microsoft. I'm afraid they have stopped releasing it for customers now!
