MR. BILL I OWN SONY VEGAS MOVIE STUDIO PLATINUM 10 AND HAVE A KODAK ZI8. MY COMPUTER IS A QUAD CORE AND IS VERY WELL EQUIPPED FOR HD VIDEO AND TONS MORE THE PROBLEM IS THE ZI8 IS SO LAGGY AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY DO U HAVE THIS PROBLEM PLZ HELP.....

@romo0012 The above was shot with a Kodak Zi8. Notice it doesn't lag on my computer.

I set the Zi8 to shoot in 720p mode, and set the project properties in Sony Vegas Platinum 10 to 720p.

My computer is a Dell Studio XPS with intel i7-820 processor, 12 gig of Ram, and a video card with 1024meg of Ram.

@romo0012 How do you get the water mark out of sony vegas? when i try to register as it was installing the product, it says can't connect to the newblue server. I have the product but i also have their water mark can anyone help?

@areyasure The plugin has a self install. Just run it, and it will install into Sony Movie Studio automatically.

( my favourite out of the free fx pack for movie studio 10 hd is the earthquake effect . im amazed by the free pack to be honest , but i wish new blue would sell individual fx and transitions for a decent individual price instead of selling them as a pack @ 100 to 150 dollars )

@pokefan9000 I have the Kodak Zi8 pocket camera. I found it at Amazon for $78 (refurbished).  I'm continually amazed at the quality of video the camera shoots.

It is a good substitute when I don't want to lug around larger cameras.

When I use it with Sony Vegas, I first convert the video using Cineform NeoScene to improve color and make editing easier.

@PcJaiden828 Actually, with Windows 7 64 bit, you can have up to 192 Gig of Ram - if your motherboard can hold that much.
