@INHeadKay cause what you see at the very end of the commercial is not outside the larder but is a recording from liverppool street, looking at liverpool street station, what you see to your left is the UBS, and at the end is the corner of the startion just next to the bus stops.. and if you are going to then say.. yeah but the entrance to the larder doesn't look that way.. you would be correct... that is not the larder either. nor is st. johns street the crossing at the begining of the ad.
I like the instrumentation of the Peggy Lee version but I LOVE Kay Starr's forceful voice - you really feel like she's having a good day. Lee's is too laid back in comparison.
I too prefer Peggy Lee's versions, with her lovely vocals that show a subtle understanding of the blues. (Besides, Peggy herself wrote this song.) That said, Kay Starr does a very nice version, too. Both winners, in my book.
I prefer the Perry Como version myself.

@abbc514 but it seems there is a tube station at the end of the street, St. Johns street doesn't have a tube station at the end of it, I'm confused!

Its a good day by Kay Starr, and i agree, Peggy Lees voice is a little too soft for the song, she dosent get enough feeling across

I woke up this morning, needed to get out of bed
And I called on the weather man and this is what he said:
'Yes it's a good day for singing a song
And it's a good day for moving along
Yes it's a good day, how can anything go wrong?
Cos' Monday to Sunday, You've got to find it one day
It's gonna be a good day for you!'
