Lightning seems a bit too sharp. You're going to have to blend it into the opacity of the aura, which I believe should also be reduced in a frontal view. Try a simple Gaussian and then lowering the opacity level from the front view shot of the aura. Then it'll be incredibly nicer.

Wow! That was probably the coolest vid I've seen on the Super Saiyan after effects! One thing I really loved was the acting: the tension of the actor's face and body (along with slick camera angles here and there) gave the video a great edge, and seemed almost as if ripped straight out of an actual movie! Great job! Now, why couldn't Hollywood get it right in their DragonBall: Evolution adaption?
