these guys are dutch, saw them in 2008 at the Airnourne marches, they are a commemorative group as bad bill says, proof, They spoke dutch, with very basic english, not canadian english, not canadian french, Dutch, how do i know... i walked up to them and asked where they were from, the said, 'we're from de nederlands'
looking at your post 48 th Highlanders of Holland looks weird. only reason i say that because I'm ex member of the 48 th Highlanders of Canada. my dad serve during war time, my brother ,cousin and myself all serve during peace time

This is the pipes and drums of 48th Highlanders of Canada (based out of Toronto, Ont.) performing at a World War II memorial in Holland (Evidence: They play "Maple Leaf Forever" at 1:13, which is a Canadian military tune - not Dutch, not French, not even British!). The title of the video is incorrect.

GOOGLE them before you make outlandish unsupported statements. Your "Evidence" is invalid, as any Military Unit can, and will, play tunes of other Nations on occasion, such as the day (September 11) the Grenadier Guards played the American Anthem in front of Buckingham Palace.
