  • Actually the Shark Professional product line is superior in every way, heavier gauge steel, better slides, better handles, better everything! LISTA? Still not close to the Shark Professional tool box

  • But there is a better one! Its called LISTA!

  • oh and the slides on my box would be VERY special indeed! there wouldn't bee no clumsiness or wobbliness. It would be like a bolt action rifle to where it slides out straight and precise. Anyone want to buy it? Hahahaha

  • I'm sure i can design a better tool box that is not only stronger but LIGHTER. First step is to make an exo skeleton made from machined aluminum with cross sections. Second is to ad an outer "fairing" wrapped around the exo skeleton that is made from stainless steel with a carbon rubber coated edges, Second is to make the drawres made from the same machining method. IF i can find a way to sell it cheaper than snapon then I WIN!

  • here is the deal if you made your box out of solid gold it would be cheaper than snap on.

  • Do you guys have a safety kit to retrofit a 20 year old roll cabinet snap on tool box drawers from sliding open when the box is not lock like the safety fixture you have on the new product. I believe the product is sturdy and durable but not a safe one specially if is roll across the shop and you forget to lock it .

  • beta - usag N1 tools en toolbox .

  • and it doubles as a work bench, i have a vice mounted on it and i can bang it with a hammer all day and nothing happens to it, I'd like to see snap on do that in one of their ads.

I also get alot more work done than the other young blokes my age, slaves to the snap on easy finance and nothing to show for it but a big shiny box sparsely filled with tools

  • Why??? My toolbox is just a box on wheels with shelves that I got from my grandpa. How much time do you spend going through your toolbox in a day, maybe 5 minutes? And how much of a difference does it make whether your toolbox is a snap on or just a plain old box with shelves like mine? Both do the same job. I couldn't care less about all the engineering that went into it either, end of the day my old box built with 4-5mm plate steel is still going to be stronger.

  • @KevinMillard68 - When a sudden load is applied to a bar or beam, the unit strain (defromation) are two times those produced by an equal load applied gradually. The bar or beam will oscillate, dissipating energy by damping, & gradually resume the same condition of stress & strain equal to the static load.

  • Overpriced BULL. notice the foam cover on the hammer. any box will handle countless strides from a covered hammer, and will never scratch the paint, these commercials are so stupid, they dont even do legit tests.

  • id like to see them drive that truck up bet thoes boxes wont survive then lol

  • I bought one of those 3000 dollar "mac" boxes.. biggest turd I ever bought I now own one of those 7000 Snap on boxes like the ones in the video I can tell you there is NO comparison you get what you pay for i will never have to buy another box

  • man i was likw " wat the fuuuuck" when i saw that dump truck on those tool boxes.

  • Don't you just hate when people put 20 ton dump trucks on your toolboxes? Haha snapon has the answer xD

  • I have owned both and both are good boxes, the Matco box edges out Snap On with drawer design and they are built more rigid. That is why the panels cave in strapped to a frame machine. Im not going on a brick jumping mission with my tool box. The Snap On does what its designed for and so does the Matco. Bottom line is the Matco is built more sturdy.

  • Snap On is having problems with their toolboxes rusting out and it is the new toolboxes that are doing this.Read this on Facebook and a couple have had this problemn so far

  • what about crasftman compare to snap on...???? is snap on way better or not...??

  • @zamamattiolo

Crafstman is not even in the same arena as Snap-On.

I have plenty of craftsman tools...they're goo...but Snap-On is the best in the world bar none. Comparing a craftsman box to a Snap-On box.... is like comparing a skateboard to a ferrari. Snap-On is 10 times better...but they do cost 10-20 times more.

  • @951pete thankx bro... i know why i m saving money for now....

  • @zamamattiolo

No problem...they are worth the money. Im writing this to you on the laptop I have in my Masters Series triple bank. It retails for $17,000 dollars..but worth every penny. (I paid less with my trade in) My first snapon I had for 12 years ...still felt like new..but I out-grew it so I got a huge one. Good luck on the career !

  • @951pete thank you again. i m from europe, moved to US couple years ago, and wasnt sure what was the best tools to work with here. now i know. i already checked the price online, yes it is more expensive, but like you say worth every penny. take care

  • I love my Snap On Tools and Tool Storage. Would'nt trade them for anything, and my dealer has to be one of the best, since I don't work with my tools in a shop daily, I don't get to see my dealer every week, but that does'nt stop him from working with me - In Fact I have a new Box on order now - time to upgrade!

  • i just got one straight from the factory in gorgeous deep black and it cost me 5500 canadian from my snap on dealer, what do you think aboot that, eh, but seriously no one in canada says aboot, it's about, fucking eh

  • I just got a used 16drawer roll cab, its used but I'm sure the quaility is still there and will last me a long time!

  • You never really own a Snapon Toolbox.. you simply take care of it until the next guy gets it from you.. ;-)

  • @CE750 yup you never really own one. As soon as you get close to paying it off the salesman sucks you in to buying a bigger, better and mega more expensive box. And when you get close to paying that one off etc etc etc. Way overpriced.

  • @14goldmedals

SRSLY!? just have some restraint. I've had my toolboxes completely paid off for like 6 years now. I am about to outgrow my current setup, but to add another top box is 'only' $1700. That will hold me over for quite a while, plus won't take that long to payoff. But, I do understand the point you're making.

  • @audioguru76 I'm mainly referring to the new to the trade guys I see. Too many of them go too big too soon and are saddled with payments they can't handle. You are right about restraint being the key.

  • There not cheap but top quality never is.

You definately get what you pay for

  • agree toolbox that cost 7,000 pluss is nuts I,v been guyion thier tools,My money is worth more than a tool box,Snapon must be laughin all the way to the bank at those who buy these boxes, sweet box built better than any car

  • I have been buying Snap-on tools for years everything from sockets to diagnostic machines but and here is the but i refuse to buy or spend stupid amounts of money on one of their toolboxes. After all the tools do the job for you the box just sits there. £2000 or even £7000 will buy diagnostic tools that will earn their money in the workshop unlike a nice shiney box to put it all in. Snap-on tools as a whole are the best tools in the world but their tool boxes are way over priced.

  • a ha tool box the only tool that rooks u on the money, so overpriced

  • i love how he says nothing about the $7000 price tag. Wicked box though. Snap-on FTW

  • I love me some SNAP ON!
