Game makers want to put there games on XBOX because there is more money to be made in cross production. It's going to get to a point where the only exclusive titles on each system are going to be from their internal publishers. As third party publishers are not going to want to be locked down to one system when they can make money on both.

When the PS3 first came out it was $600. It was priced out of a lot of people's range. So in turn people who at the time couldn't afford the PS3 turned to XBOX360. Which is why more people have XBOX360, That and it was out a year before the PS3 hit store shelves.
There is a reason why the Wii is outselling BOTH systems. And PRICE has a hell of a lot to do with it.

You're right about not having to worry about your console breaking i'm not not either because my console hasn't, anyways good for you that you havn't got any hard drive issues with your PS3 yet. However with the games yes Xbox does have a bigger library of better games then the PS3 which is a fact Gears and Halo is only two examples of this, look how meny people play them and have been sold compared to any PS3 game. Anyway PS games is only a bonus 2 people who used 2 own a PS an now have an Xbox

Again, if you can find my initial statement. Is that XBOX had been out in the market for at least a year before the PS3 even came out. So of course they are going to have more games. And the PS3 was out of a lot of peoples price range for a system at the time. So in turn a lot of people who wanted a PS3 settled for XBOX.
But what good is having more games if so many of them are crap?

Game makers want to put there games on XBOX because there is more money to be made in cross production. It's going to get to a point where the only exclusive titles on each system are going to be from their internal publishers. As third party publishers are not going to want to be locked down to one system when they can make money on both.
And you are delusional if you think that XBOX would have sold more units than PS3 if they came out at the same time at the same price.

It's not an excuse, that's a known fact that Sony priced themselves into a hole when they launched the PS3 at $600. And people that wanted PS3s ended up with XBOX instead. I know quite a few of them myself. And most all of them plan on buying PS3s for Christmas.
And they signed themselves over because they can make more money. This is a business dude, it's about the money.

When the PS3 first came out it was $600. It was priced out of a lot of people's range. So in turn people who at the time couldn't afford the PS3 turned to XBOX360. Which is why more people have XBOX360, That and it was out a year before the PS3 hit store shelves.
There is a reason why the Wii is outselling BOTH systems. And PRICE has a hell of a lot to do with it.
