  • Awesome!

  • Damn!! Super phat, no doubt for sure...

  • where can i get thiss!?!?! (:

  • yeah man that's good

  • Dope beat

  • man these beats are crazy keep it up

  • a few were made with the SP, a few with the 950, and a few with a Casio CZ1!!!

i feel you about the Roland. I feel the same about the Casio. The market didn´t recognize this thing at all, though this machine sound almost the same as the SP. It does these high-frequency metallic artifacs that the SP does. But actually when it comes to beats the sampler doesn´t matter. The producers skills do!!! Keep on makin beats, pal!! DJ PEAK

  • But actually, if you know what your shit is supposed to sound like, you can get that sound with almost any vintage sampler, once you figured a workaround... i can even make my AKAI S5000 sound as grungy as the SP... I was making beats in 2000-2003 with three different samplers at a time. the people could never tell wich one my beats were actually made with... check my channel, listen to my beats and tell me wich song came from wich sampler :-)

  • Mn I couldn't even tell you. The beats are fire! Nice selection of samples too. Right now I'm using the MP2K XL and the VP 9000 from Roland. Man the VP 9000 is probably one of the most slept on pieces of gear, mainly because of it being too pricey when it 1st came out.....$3000. I found one and paid $450 for it. The guy i bought it from really didnt know what he had. I advise to check this one out. It saves a lot of guesswork when it comes to syncing samples. The VP 9000 is bananas.

  • tight shit, but audioquality is crappy!!! but the beat is nice!!!

  • Yeah the beat is tight.....thats the way the audio quality should sound like coming from the SP. It's a 12 bit sampler. Grittier the better.

  • i know exactly what the SP sounds like. been working with it for 14 years!!!! but the SP produces artifacts not distortion!!!! that distortion comes from the poor videorecording!!!

    DJ PEAK

  • AAhh.....gotcha. Didn't realize the video sound quality was that bad. Still has a little flavor for the grunge heads. Anything lower than 12 bit is a little too much for me. My MP can get those same characteristics but the SP 1200 cannot be touched. I plan on getting one VERY soon.

  • well, i know the machine damn well and i must say it is easy to make good Hip Hop sound with it.

  • Dope. SP was before my time. I rock out the 2KXL. I would love though to try/own one.
